Where do I begin with this place? My friend called this place few times to get information. We were…read moretold that the cabin is facing a lake and that the rooms have freezers, coffee makers, ovens, and are big. We were so choked up when we got there for our weekends from Alberta, but did not know what else to do. There are no freezers, ovens or coffee makers in the room. We had taken frozen pizza and other food that needed to be in the freezer that we ended up getting ice and keeping them in the cooler and having to bring it back. The lake is about 10 minutes drive to the cabins and the room was so disgusting that we are lucky we had our own pillow and blanket and slept on top of the beddings they had with our own blanket. The sink in the "kitchen" was the same sink you would use when you come out of the bathroom. The shower curtain was so small that the carpet in the bathroom was soaking wet after each shower. Which was weird because the shower was only a drizzle to the point that I couldn't rinse off the soap and shampoo completely. We literally washed all the dishes before using it. That's how grossed out we were. The room was practically size of a shed and when we asked for the bigger room, the owner, Patti said no because she didn't want to clean the small room. We hadn't even taken anything inside, just opened the door and went back to her. Every time we talked to the lady owner, she would change her stories and didn't answer questions. When we tried to talk to her husband, she would become very defensive. We found the information we received from the lady was day and night different from the info that the man was giving. The "fire pit" was this round middle thing that was on top of the grass and you had to chop your own wood and pray that this middle round that that easily moved around was safe. Patti the lady owner told us that they are always busy. Beside my friend and I and there was only the coupe and their dog that owned the place for the whole weekend. The campground right across from it was PACKED. This place is not worth $100 per night. Maybe $50, but if you're planning to go there on a vacation and fun, don't go near this place.

The spring rolls were excellent but the chicken wings were terrible, Luke warm, overcooked and very dry. I would not order them again. The gave a discount but it all still was a $65 touch

These sandwiches were pathetic, obviously wanting to make more profit instead of giving a person good value for the money! Had a steak there the day before, just bland, no seasoning! Only 3 places to eat in that town, subway or Chester fried chicken, much better meals and value!!!

We…read morewere checking out of hotel and I enjoy cold pizza in the morning so I took a big happy bite and a long piece of hair cooked into the cheese pulled out of my mouth and was stuck under the Italian sausage. We own a pizza place ourselves and we wear hairnets and other devices to protect from this. I went from really liking this pizza to almost being sick. You guys need to do better in your kitchen it's not ok to have hair in your food. Enforce hairnets in food prep. Just gross.

The food and atmosphere are good. The service was terrible. We ordered a pepp/mush pizza to share…read moreand requested that onions be on half instead of mushrooms (so essentially half was pepp/mush and half was pepp/onion). The mushrooms were forgotten completely so we mentioned but said no thanks to a side of mushrooms being brought out (pizza would have been cold by then). The bill: $32.60 for the pizza, an add on charge of $1.95, and another add on charge of $3.95. Our waitress kept the bill on her tray while she entered the total in the machine, handed the machine to my husband, then put the bill on the table. He glanced at the total to make sure it matched then paid. By doing this the waitess pretty much kept the bill out of our sight and I didn't notice the upcharges until I looked at it afterwards. We questioned the waitress about the charges, she said it's an old system so it's "entered automatically". I replied that she hadn't told us about a charge to substitute vegetables (understandable if there's a charge to substitute a veg for a meat) and again asked to know why there were two add-on fees. She took the bill and walked away. Another server came out and said she'd call her manager down, but they'd refund the bill, recharge without the add ons. We said okay and sat back to wait. Our original waitress came out, slammed $4.50 in change on the table, and walked away without a word. So, not only were there unexplained add ons on our bill, how our server handled it was terrible. The complaint isn't over $5.95 in over charges...it's about terrible communication, a bad attitude, and mismanagement of a problem that could have very easily been dealt with quickly and politely. We won't be back and yes, I've called the manager.
