In fact, they only have a few. Meat or veggie dog, served on a short bun, covered in wasabi mayo and Sriracha ketchup, with crispy fried onions. Amazingly delicious. I swear, you might be able to eat 100 of these dogs, 'cause they're not very big- but they pack in the flavor. They also serve craft cocktails. With an aperitif cocktail on tap (never seen that one before!) they can make all kinds of crazy mixologist concoctions. I opted for the beer- which was very cheap, but it came out in a half-pour. Perfect for last call. The interior looks like an Ed Hardy Japanese shirt factory exploded. They have weird prints of Japanese tattoos, and Asian street art that's interesting to check out. The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly- they obviously know their cocktails, with homemade ingredients and properly sized chunks of ice in the proper cups.

The service was extremely nice and friendly. We loved the veggie dog - although it was quite light, it was very tasty and had lots of cilantro, other spices and salted peanuts in it. Nothing in it was hot and it was mere a bun with some filling, but it was lovely anyway. There are nice drinks with funny names and some Asian beer in the list too. The prices are pretty high and if you are very hungry, the hot dogs and kimchi won't really fill your stomach - but I really recommend tasting! Huge thanks for the music which wasn't playing too loud in the "backroom" where we were sitting in. We really were able to chat with each other without shouting over the music - this is rare in pubs and worth of praise. This was my first visit but I will definitely come back. There are only few places with this kind of atmosphere in Helsinki.

About time it occurs again! I feel like I've seen them in the top 50 world's best bars but I don't really remember. Regardless, they're amazing. The space is gorgeous. It's a modern, sleek, open, & clean setup. A conducive atmosphere towards creating amazing concoctions. I had two cocktails: Tigi Wigi & Sex in the Forest. These cocktails were boozy, yet I was still able to taste all the notes within each cocktail. Even better? The bartenders were friendly and engaged in small talk. Great demeanor and I could see that they love what they do. I'd love to have a bar like this back in the city. Something unique and different from the masses. Until then, I'll keep traveling and finding amazing spots throughout the world like this one.

It's important to note that Chihuahua Julep is phone free; no pictures, no scrolling! The bar is small and it can take a while to get in; likewise, the cocktails can take some time to make, which our server warned us about beforehand. But the cocktails are great, very labor-intensive and beautifully made. The bar specializes in spirits from the Americas, so it's a tequila, mezcal, and whiskey heavy menu. I would highly recommend a visit to Chihuahua Julep if you're looking for a bar that takes its time and favors quality over quantity.

Despite the music (the live DJ was on top of his game) this bar receives a 1 star due to an inexcusable flaw and service policy. While at the steam bar, I wanted to take a break and use my steamer (an electronic cigarette.) They do not have a smoking room, so smokers are to go outside. I went to the coat-check with my ticket, (late October in Helsinki), and told them I'm going to step outside and return. I was informed of a policy they have, not to return jackets but instead to loan out a thin 'blanket' to smokers. Not only was I adverse to the idea of sharing a blanket with every previous bar patron who wanted to step outside, but my personal vaporizer was in my jacket. When I informed the two people at the coat check of this, I was told that I "could go buy cigarettes at the bar." After making it clear that I want my vaporizer from my jacket and that I do not want to buy cigarettes, that the purpose of me having a personal steam machine is to prevent me from smoking cigarettes, they agreed to release my jacket to me. At a cost of an additional 3€. This is not a joke, and after being polite more than long enough I even began to argue the point of jacket extortion to no avail. I was told "every time I want to touch my coat, it will cost an additional 3€. As a line formed behind me, I eventually told them that I'll take my jacket, and pay the fee upon return. As a matter of principle I did not return, and missed the rest of my friend's birthday. This bar had a lot of potential, but poor hygiene, rude staff, greedy management and terrible rules made creating a yelp account worth the effort.

One of them is Bar Socis inside Hotel Seurahuone. The hotel is located right in the heart of Helsinki next to Sokos and around the corner from the main station. After entering you can already see the bar straight ahead. Bar Socis has a real Paris feeling to it. And that is not just due to the French music played here. The bar has a round shape and is covered by a beautiful colored glass ceiling. The center of the bar is a small fountain covered in blue and green light around which comfortable sofas and armchairs are placed. You can get various cocktails and of course wine and beer here. Prices are a bit higher then elsewhere in the center. The atmosphere is really something though and worth to spend at least an hour.
