Although that's not needed most of the time as you'd rather burn your mouth from finishing the great, hot tea than finishing it before the friendly staff serves it to you. You can get the meals either as a bread to take with you or as a plate dish to sit down. Well, you may also sit down with the bread, but the portion in the bread is only if you are not that hungry.
