I ordered pork; it didn't have much flavour. There was a side of assorted salad (including salad greens, coleslaw, potato, tomato, etc.) Service is not great. The waiter seemed grumpy and brusque.

It's November and time for a Martinigansl, which was very good. The goose was marinated well before roasting and the traditional sides of red cabbage and dumplings (Serviettenknödel) were very tasty too. The roasted apple was filled with walnuts. We also had their famous Tafelspitz which was just perfection. The meat was so tender and tasty and the soup was an epiphany. The portions are very generous. I think two people could have shared the Tafelspitz. We also had the Palatschinken - pancakes filled with light yummy apricot jam - and the chocolate soufflé which was just amazing. The staff was very friendly. I loved Plachutta Nussdorf as it has high quality food but is less crowded and noisy than the ones in the inner city. Highly recommended!
