We went to Arabe Miguel by chance, we had Ubered to a nearby Vietnamese restaurant, which was closed the day we went, and this was right around the corner. We went as a family of 7 and were the first customers of the day. We ordered from the Menu rather than trying the buffet.
We love middle eastern food, and Arabe Miguel did not disappoint. For drinks we had pitchers of Mint Lemonade which was excellent and not lacking in flavor, as well as a couple of pitchers of the Mint Lassi which was excellent. The Turkish coffee was also very good.
We had the cheese flat bread which was like a pretty good quesadilla, the Stuffed Grape Leaf dish was very good and was served warn rather than cold which is my preference, the Tabule was very good, and they prepared without fresh onion for us, Falafel was very good, Hummus was very good, as was the Baba Ghanoush although a bit on the limey side, the assorted Kebabs (Alambres) were tasty although all of the meat was a bit overcooked, and we tried the Lamb and Chicken Shawarma, which was also god, prepared in flatbread.
Service was good overall.
If you are in the mood for Middle Eastern food, they have been in business since 1944 so they had certainly passed the test of time, and do not disappoint and we recommend. read more
