We were staying in Nurburg but not much was open there that evening so we drove the short distance to Adenau and happened upon this charming trattoria there. Set in a beautiful, large chalet-like building on the edge of town we were quickly won over by the decor and the friendly staff. The meals other diners had looked delicious and everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. After being seated we were quickly met by Mauri the owner who is the epitome of hospitality and manners. We had a fantastic meal with numerous courses and enjoyed Mauri's company and advice. We were quickly becoming friends! Highly recommend!!!

The pizza was fairly small so I would say if you have two people you may need two pizzas. I will also say I enjoyed the pasta much more than the pizza. They did provide bread with the pasta and it was literally a lump of pizza dough that was still kind of doughy so really could've passed on that. But the prices were decent and the take away was quick!

We came pretty early so wasn't that busy and had the hot rock fillet with chips and salad and was a good cut of meat. The service was nice and prompt, no complaints there. The starters and drinks (we had fruit juice) were ok, nothing to rave about. We hung around chatting after the meal and was no rush with the bill. A restaurant with loads of memorabilia of the famous Nurburgring race track which is a stones throw away. It has a great atmosphere about it, if you're into racing.
