The taste was very nice, but the pizza was incredibly oily. One of the members in our family had gnocchi Gorgonzola. She thought it was quite good. Two people had spaghetti (one Napoli, one bolgnaese); and they both thought it was good. We had a caprese salad, which was unfortunately really, really bad. The mozzarella was very hard, almost rubbery. Worst mozzarella I've ever had. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately I couldn't give this more than three stars.

He…read moreand his wife would often travel across the border to eat at this particular restaurant for two reasons. 1. the food was more authentic and 2. the prices are waaay cheaper. I must say he was right on both counts. Additionally, the atmosphere was casual, family style dinning and very comfortable. The icing on top for me was that they give take home boxes too. While this may not seem like a big deal, for an American living abroad it was a wonderful surprise. I believe I ate the schinken and fungi pizza, but don't quote me on it... that was about two years ago.

A little out of the way from the major commercial area, but very good Italian food when you tire of…read moreschnitzel. Great choice if you are staying at the Marriott Courtyard hotel. If you are very hungry, a traditional full course Italian meal will fill you. The bone-in Veal Marsala was tremendous. Save room for some home made gelati, or one of the other home made desserts. Or take some baked goods home for later. Guten Appetit!
