Having said that seating is very limited but they offer outdoor dining. I just prefer being inside because I don't want to eat food and be around smokers. I find that it's typical of European to smoke everywhere. This place had friendly service and customers. I was very satisfied with our food. Their portions are huge and reasonably priced! Their pork schnitzel was amazing. It came with salad and country potatoes topped with fried onions. Also got the pork braten and it came with 2 potato dumplings. It was pretty filling. This place is a true gem and as a foreigner I would give it 2 thumbs up. Would definitely come back and try some more of their dishes

Nach dem erfolgten Pächterwechsel waren wir mit einer kleinen Gruppe in der Kommunbräu....ehrlich…read moregesagt aus Neugierde. Das Bier ist ja bekanntermaßen noch das gleiche. Also haben wir uns nen Platz im Biergarten gesichert. Schön war...das die Ansprache durch den Service schnell und freundlich war. Nach dem ersten Schluck sahen wir uns dann etwas mehr um. Der Biergarten ist übersichtlich...aber dafür in keinem optisch guten Zustand. Tische und Bänke sind stark beansprucht ....und von der blauen Farbe sind an manchen Garnituren nur noch Reste. Beim umsehen innen....ein ähnliches Bild.Die schwarz lackierten Stühle und Bänke haben schon ziemliche Gebrauchsspuren. Bei naturbelassenem Holz in braun würde das vermutlich nicht so stark auffallen....aber bei schwarz sticht das schon ins Auge. Unsere bestellten Essen kamen zeitnah.Vom Gemüsecurry über Schnitzel und Schäuferla gegrillter Haxen war alles vertreten.Die gegrillte Haxe und das Schulterstück hatten wohl die gleiche,etwas dünne Soße. Grundsätzlich was das Essen in Ordnung....portionsgröße normal...aber alles in allem war es nur Standart....Nichts besonderes. Der Feinschliff ...und das Auge für Details fehlt.Und der Biergarten direkt vorm Eingang ist nunmal auch ein Aushängeschild....was aber einer überarbeitet bedarf.
