They served delicious little snack crackers with the tea. Often these are shrimp crackers that leave a taste in your mouth like you've licked an old sea net. These were fresh and crisp with a little bit of heat. Not too much, just a nice flavor. The Vegetable Egg Foo Yong was also delicious. It was clearly cooked fresh with delicate vegetables that didn't overwhelm the omelet. I've had it from one other Chinese restaurant in Zwolle and the one I had here was far superior. It is served here in Holland with sweet sauce. That's initially a shock but in this case, the sauce was subtle and complimentary to the dish versus the other place where the omelet was just drowning in sticky goo. The fried rice was very good as well. Once again, subtle flavors of green onion and egg in the veggie version I requested. Overall, great experience.

So I spoke with the Chinese boss who's originally from Hong Kong (here since he was 2). I just requested for soup noodles (spicy) with beef and shrimp. It came up to be 18.59 EUR (which I assume was fairly standard for main courses). It was quite a large dish. And overall the quality is quite good. Shrimp was fresh and crunchy. Beef was well cooked and tender. Soup was flavorful. The cook/chef us definitely Chinese or quite well-trained. Saw a number of guests that came in who were personally greeted by the boss. They must be regulars. From TripAdvisor reviews, this is definitely the go-to place for authentic Chinese. Surprised that they didn't have a single review on Yelp. (So now here it is!!)

Serving tables/trays in middle of table are heated and that kept dishes warm--nice touch. Enjoyed Kung Pao Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, and Pork with Chinese Vegetables. Enough for 4 people to share. Small Gripe: Beers on draught served in tiny 0.25L glasses One and only one menu was in English, so we shared. No traditional Lunch-only menu. Alert: None of 4 American Credit Cards worked, even those with a chip, and don't understand why. So local colleague paid with his card.
