They have a fine selection of olive oil's - some for cooking, some for drizzling and some for dipping. I also got some dips and sweet sauces and a selection of delicious balsamic vinegar's. They offer Italian, French, Spanish and then you have to narrow it down to the region! Then you do the same with the cheese. I ended up getting two sandwiches, the cured ham from Spain's basque country paired with Ossau-Iraty, or basque sheep milk cheese. My other sandwich was a French baked ham sandwich with comte. My mother had her own idea of what she wanted for lunch and wandered over to another restaurant. I like that you can pick and choose and find something that suits all. At the Italian place, I ordered the caprese and so did my aunt. My little cousin went with the lasagna and nephew ordered the spaghetti with clams. My sister went with this pasta with a marinara sauce. Food was delicious and affordable. After our meal, we walked around again and I ended up buying cheeses and crackers from the Fromager. Service wasn't too friendly, but really didn't mind as I was getting this to go. I later learned that the Marche des enfants rouges is the oldest market in Paris and dates back to 1628. I really love the history behind the market and the food that we ate that day. The only downside is that almost half of the places were closed due to the day that we went, so you never know what will be offered.
