Wilhelmshaven even has a summer festival around the dish made popular by sailors and coastal towns. It consists of mashed potatoes with corned beef, fried egg, pickle, beets, a piece of herring fish, and salad. It looks and sounds strange, but most of it tastes like a red color corned beef hash in the States. Don't be afraid to try it. I had other dishes here before, and good was always great. No disappointment there :) The inside was comfortable and stylish and it had a very nice atmosphere. Sadly the food toke a very loooonnnggg time to come and when my guest who came with me finally received his scrabbled eggs and bread he forgot to order the stuff to put on the bread like cheese and meat so he had to order it after his food came. We were hoping it wouldn't take as long as before. We were disappointed. It toke so long that he had to ask twice to go check with the kitchen when it's coming. Finally it arrived (noting he already finished everything except his bread- great). Then he told the waitress that the waiting time until the food arrives takes way to long and that wouldn't help the restaurant get any more happy customers. She then said with an attitude, well we have this program in set when someone takes an order. Then my guest said well it would help to change that program because the waiting time for things takes way to long especially for the small stuff like for a cheese and meat tablet. She then just shrugged off and said well then you should of ordered it with you main Course meal. My guest didn't want to start a big argument so he stopped arguing. She finally left not solving the problem nor showing any sympathy. So service isn't very good. But we only had her so I don't know if the others are the same way, so if you go there just hope you won't get her. Overall it's good. To bad that the program they set in place isn't very good :/ prices are normal.

This place provides English manual and waitress speaks English, price is acceptable and food is not bad. The good thing is, they don't close early like the others in this city.
