Randomly went to this restaurant, on a whim, while in search of a place for dinner with the fiance…read morefor her birthday. We had walked around the area quite a bit and eventually decided upon this place because of how packed it was, especially since it was almost 10PM on a weeknight. We managed to snag a table inside and decided that we couldn't resist their 16.90€ deal which featured four, banchan-sized appetizers, a vegetable bibimbap and a beef plate for Korean BBQ. We shared a solid bottle of red wine and awaited for our food to arrive. It didn't take too long before our first part of the menu arrived. It was three small bowls of pretty tasty food: a salad of cold noodles with some vinaigrette sauce, a beef broth soup and some vegetables which rotate daily or weekly and in our case was spinach with some garlic. We devoured all of the bowls and not long after they cleared the bowls away, our plate of carpaccio-thin, marinated, raw beef arrived along with the Korean barbecue burner. We let it heat up briefly and started to work on our bowls of vegetarian bibimbap - bibimbap is a staple of Korean fare and is basically a bowl of warm, white rice topped with some namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste). Ours didn't feature a fried egg on top but it paired very well with the meat which we cooked ourselves on the burner. All in all the place was solid and the food was good. Better yet, the prices which are relatively low considering the quality and quantity of food that they churn out. The interactivity of the meal when you get to cook your meat makes for a fun date and it was a great meal. Service was courteous and efficient, the establishment was spotless and the decore was simple and modern. Best yet, the restaurant's noise level was relatively quiet in contrast to how busy it was. What more could you really ask for? Good food and service with good prices? Check.

I got kind of excited because I (thought I) found a Korean restaurant right by the school I work…read moreat, because I love Korean food, so I went to try it for lunch one day. I instantly noticed that despite being named "Korean Paradise," the menu included a number of other pan-asian dishes. So obviously the place isn't run by Koreans. Maybe their makis are good.
