While on Vacation we found this lovely Restaurant "El Greco"…read more We went there on a Monday and where lucky that they where open since they it is there usual day that is closed. We where greeted very friendly and seated promptly. The decorations where nice and festive for the Christmas season. We got a free Ouzo after being seated that was a nice gesture. We ordered: Sternquell Pils and Atlantis red wine: The wine was very good. Akropolis- Platte for 2 people: Gyros, 2 Lamb chops, 2 Suwlaki, 2 pork steaks, Greek Noodles, Garlic potato's, Tsatziki and 2 side salads. We opted for one regular salad and one Kraut salad. They even decorated the plates individually was nice. Everything was very good and flavorful I would recommend this "Platte" since you can try everything, the Tsatziki was amazing my favorite. The Meats and potato's where yummy. We ordered a side or rice to try as well. After asking for some spice we where given grilled Peperoni they where great rounded out our amazing meal. The Restaurant is very nice the food Amazing, the service wonderful and the location is perfect there is plenty parking outside of the Passage. When in the area again this will be our go to Greek!!

Griechische Gastfreundlichkeit in Chemnitz,das ist mit weiten abstand der beste Grieche weit und breit..Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die bestellten Getränke kamen prompt an den Tisch. Vor den bestellten Speisen bekamen wir alle einen Salat und frisches hausgebackenes Brot.. (Als Vorspeise kann ich noch das Knoblauchbrot und die Peperoni empfehlen) Ich hatte einen Riesenspieß mit Pommes,das Fleisch war perfekt gebraten und gewürzt! Meine Begleiter aßen Hähnchen in Metaxasauce überbacken mit Käse und die legendären Athos Kartoffeln !! Ouzo gab es reichlich !! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und das wir zum Feiertag noch kurzfristig einen Tisch bekommen haben ! read more

Wirklich sehr, sehr gutes griechisches Essen (große Portionen) zu fairem Preis, schnelles und freundliches Personal und eine gemütliche (wenn auch z.T. etwas enge) Einrichtung. Wir hatten am Wochenende das Glück, dass gerade ein Tisch frei wurde, sonst wäre es ohne Reservierung wohl schwierig gewesen, das Pärchen nach uns haben sie gleich wieder weiter geschickt. read more

Ich war schon sehr oft im Restaurant "Athos" und bisher immer zufrieden. Die Bedienung ist bemüht den Ansprüchen des Gastes zur vollen Zufriedenheit nachzukommen. Das Essen ist reichlich und meiner Meinung nach auch frisch. Es ist richtig das die Beleuchtung besser sein könnte, aber ich finde es so gemühtlicher, da hat jeder seine eigene Meinung. read more

Der wohl beste Grieche in Chemnitz. Faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, schnelle Bedienung, große Portionen. Alles frisch zubereitet und richtig lecker. Freitag Sonntag manchmal sehr voll und nur mit Vorbestellung. read more
