The restaurants does two settings per night with only a 5-course offering maximum for the first round. Regardless, the food was ample for the 5-course choice and I was more than pleased with the experience. While the space is quite small and the staff are always having to move in and around one another to include guests, it works and provides quite an intimate space. The menu is quite straight forward as are the wine pairings, making a choice quite simple so one can get to the meal quickly. The food and service were both great and I have no complaints. From the bread and butter service to the courses themselves, each was of high quality, great looking, and even better tasting. If you are not planning out weeks in advance, getting a reservation here might be a challenge. The wines were mostly German and again, high quality as the wine regions all offer great combinations with the food. All occasions can be served by a visit to Bidlabu and I'm glad I could fit in a reservation.

There was plenty of seating inside but I would encourage you to arrive near opening because it did get full quickly. It's also always good to walk there if you can because parking can be a little bit tricky in Germany! We ordered the three taco platter, chicken chipotle fajitas, and a veggie quesadilla. We also started off with some incredibly yummy chips and guacamole (pro tip: squeeze the lime on your chips before inhaling). Everything was great, the chicken fajitas were the star of the night though so be sure to order that if you're wondering what to get. Pulled pork was a little dry so I would pass on those personally, but the quesadilla was packed with so many yummy flavors and fried to perfection! TIPS & TRICKS: * For those coming from the states, heads up that water (sparking or still) and chips/salsa are not complimentary! But definitely worth buying, so don't forget to order both!

I loved how they kept the toppings simple just onion, cilantro, and a splash of lime. The green salsa was fresh and had a nice little kick. The service was friendly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor seating was a nice touch too. Totally recommend this place for a solid taco fix.

The indoor area is well designed and fun to go to and the location is great as it's walking distance from the Luisenplatz and located near lots of fun areas. THE AMBIANCE: Jamy's has both indoor and outdoor seating which are great for rainy or sunny days, respectively. The inside is well decorated and has nice lighting and tables. It's always clean and perfect for either your friends or family to sit together and share a great meal. THE BURGERS: The burgers are incredibly juicy with clearly fresh ingredients that pack a great bite in a perfectly portioned package. The buns taste freshly made and are well buttered and cripsy on the outside while being soft and fluffy on the inside. I've tried a number of their burgers now and by far my favorite is the Double Redhead, a double all-beef patty with roasted red peppers and some kind of spicy cream sauce. It isn't too spicy and was the perfect ratio of meat to buns with a good helping of cheese between each layer. On another occasion, I had the SmokeAttack which was spicier and larger. It was roughly four inches in diameter, with a three inch diameter patty - what I'm guessing all the other reviews claim is too small a patty for them! It had layers of bacon (costs extra), grilled onions, Monterey-jack cheese, and sesame seed bun. On this occasion, the bun was also well buttered but the inside was a little too soft for me so it felt like I was eating a bread roll sandwich rather than a burger. THE FRIES: The fries are probably Jamy's specialty. I had the Sour Bacon Fries which had a good dallop of sour cream with chives and bacon on top of garlic herb seasoned fries. You get a really large serving for less than four euros that are well cooked and crispy deliciousness! It's a bit heavy on the sour cream however and could do with less. Overall, Jamy's is a great spot to go for a hearty burger or some delicious fries. I'd avoid getting both though as it can be a bit too much food!
