Das macht Pier 40 zum passenden Ankerplatz für Studenten, Singles, Schichtarbeiter, Segler und Sightseeing-Begeisterte. Messegäste und Aussteller kehren abends nach dem langen Messetag ins Pier 40 noch bei uns ein. Auf nen Kaffee, Alkoholfreies oder abends auf ein Bier - bei uns darf jeder an Bord: auch Hunde und Raucher sind willkommen. Selbstverständlich gibt's WiFi, einen Spielautomaten und TV. Ihr müsst bei uns also nicht auf das nächste Spiel der Champions League oder Bundesliga verzichten. Wer beim Junggesellen-Abschied den Bollerwagen parken möchte: Wir haben einen geschützten Anlegeplatz und natürlich eine "Kajüte" für Eure Truppe zum Feiern. Am Tresen schenken wir aus, was die Region zu bieten hat: das beliebte Meckatzer Bier vom Fass als Export und als Pils, unseren legendären selbstgemachten (!) Limes - und für alle, die ihre Crew später nach Hause schippern müssen: leckeren Mostschorle vom Obsthof Probst. Für den Heimweg sind wir in der Innenstadt optimal gelegen: Gleich bei uns fahren die Nachtbusse bis 4 Uhr noch im Bodenseekreis. Wem selbst die paar Schritte zum Bus zu weit sind, dem ordern wir natürlich ein Taxi. Pier 40 since 1996! My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three days during our travel for our honeymoon and ate at their restaurant three time. Absolutely delicious, fresh and creatively on displaying the meal. Their herbs come directly from the garden outside. I love and enjoyed staying here at the hotel and would come again if coming back to Germany (I come from the silicon Valley California). The hotel was very quant, homey feeling and friendly hotel staff. I also need to write about the comfortable beds they have in the hotel room, the beds actually have remote control that raises your upper back and your legs to the directed angle you need aka hospital beds. The rooms are also roomie for two people and enclose a couch that does open up to a single bed. The balance is also roomy, private and come with a table and two chairs to enjoy the outside. I enjoyed the two lawn cushions (without the chairs) that you could lay out on to catch some sun. The breakfast that comes with your room is also very nice and a full amount of food to start your day. The homemade banana bread is also scrumptious with some Nutella added to it. The pool in the basement is worth taking a dip in. It still had the hooks when it use to be a meat holder (not creeping as it sounds) with jets to make some bubbles. You can lay on your back and the bubbles take you on a full circle around the pool.
