Didn't even knew sauce, although it's provided), and noodles with vegetables (the best lo mein style dish I've had in decades!) I'm going to find a reason to come back here before we leave town.

Nothing fancy, just satisfying and authentic Chinese comfort food. Come early as this place is popular with both locals and tourists.

Traditional Chinese dishes with Peking duck pancakes and chilli are top shelf. If you read any of my reviews I rarely score anything above a 3- but this Resturant is real a strong four stars. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars it because that would not be Chinese unless it is wing Li in at the Wynn hotel Las Vegas it simply can not get a 5 stars. That speaks to how good the place is. Yes yes yes I recommend this place!!!! Great with young kids - service is great for Chinese Resturant but the food is incredible

All-vegan Chinese food, with a small but well-curated menu. Each main comes with rice. We ordered two mains -- a sichuan soy chicken dish and a sichuan smoked tofu dish -- as well as some stir fried morning glory (total: 700 SEK!). Everything was incredible: spicy, richly flavoured, fairly authentic. This was one of the best Chinese meals we've had outside our hometown of Vancouver, which is hard to beat for authentic Chinese. The prices are pretty nuts, but that's Stockholm for you. The food quality is so good, we almost didn't mind paying such prices. Highly recommended.

We passed Yan by chance. We wanted to pick up some asian food fast, when we discovered this gem,…read morebecause Yan is truly a gem. We have been here several times since then and we will contintue to come here. Yan serves up food made with love. Somebody at Yan loves food. You can tell this by the steaming goodness they serve. Pan fried dumplings with different fillings. We are speaking of dumplingskin made by hand to perfect thickness, filling that is tasteful, wellbalanced and juicy. These dumplings are all handmade in the restaurant and they seem to be made without msg which is surprising. This is as good as dumpling gets in Stockholm. The morsels of goodness are served with a very tasty dippingsauce that is made of what I figure are apples, ginger and vinegar, very tasty and wellbalanced w the flavourful dumplings. We have also tried the Beijing beef noodles. These noodles have lots of flavour with a fullness that gives it a deep, fullfilling taste and a slight kick from pepper(?). The oil gives all the flavours a creamyness but let the noodles speak for themselves. The beef is shredded and really tender. These noodles are excellent and really Worth it. Moreover the ambience and service has a genuin and kind feeling to it. This is also very hard to come across in Stockholm. There is a feeling of niceness and authenticity inside this place that I never felt in any other chinese restaurant in Stockholm. The prices are excellent and a very good bargain for the tasty dumplings and the supernice atmosphere. You should treat yourself and go to Yans because this is truly a gem, hidden at Birger Jarlsgatan, Close to Odengatan.

Sometimes I'm not really sure what's in a dumpling I'm eating (I can still find it good though) but these dumplings were full of flavor and I could really feel the taste of mushrooms and salmon in the fish dumplings. The shrimp dumplings had big pieces of shrimp of perfect texture. You can choose between 8, 10 or 12 pieces of chicken, beef, pork, vegetarian, salmon or shrimp dumplings, and there are also some other dishes on the menu, e.g., noodle soup. There's also the choice of mixing different dumplings. I tried salmon, shrimp and vegetarian (10 pieces, 97 SEK) - they were all very good. My colleague tried the beef and he enjoyed them very much. Tea, water, and a soup (today it was bean soup, it might vary) included in the price. Several different dip sauces are available as well as prawn crackers. Service was nice and swift.
