The service was amazing, having the head chef come out and share his recommendations and accommodate us is always a plus. Everything here is fresh. How do I know? There's a window to watch your food being made from your seat. Every bite got to be savored as one would while discovering and traveling. It's a meal I won't forget due to the taste, hospitality, and flavor of the whole experience. I ventured from the presets and ended up doing my own three course meal. First up was shrimp and sea scallops appetizer, which had a flavorful green sauce, perfectly cooked protein, and garnished beautifully. This set up high expectations for the meal. Next up was Pappardelle with Aubergine. Roasted pine nuts and hand pulled pasta together was a combo I never realized worked well like this! Plated beautifully and savored every bite. Finally my main was an Orange Duck Breast. The mix of flavors from the Apple, orange, carrots with the perfectly rare duck breast topped it all up for me. Then for the main course I had the traditional Polish dish of Kotlet schabowy. This is pork tenderloin (real pork tenderloin) dipped in egg and bread crumbs and deep fried until beautifully crisp on the outside and wonderfully moist and tender on the inside. This was served with mashed potatoes with a bit of bacon on top. On the side were a selection of salads - slights sweet carrot, mild beetroot, and a coleslaw with a little bite of horseradish. Very delicious. Add some tea with lemon and a honey beer from the microbrewery and I was in heaven. This was just delicious. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Everything was hot or cold as it should be. A lovely meal in a great atmosphere. Many local workers were eating there and that says a lot.

However, the bacon was divine. Slow coming ones for 12 hours.. Fun to sit inside and watch the people pass by on their way to the old square. It went quite well with some local Polish cider (Cydr Lubelski), very crisp & refreshing. I do feel the need to dock a star because of the complimentary garlic knots that were flat-out inedible. We really should've sent them back to the kitchen.
