Although there's a significant number of tourists around, the small town of Ciężkowice does not offer much in the aspect of decent restaurants. But if you get hungry after a hike in the Stone City (Skamieniałe Miasto), you can drive a few minutes away from this wonder of nature and visit Spiżarnia.
It's not easy to keep a certain level of service in the lesser known parts of Poland, but Spiżarnia certainly aspires to keep it. The cuisine is not too fancy, but sometimes it's for the best. Worth trying: the dumplings or something from the daily menu. read more
