We drive 2.5 hours to eat here on occasion. So far it is the only location in Poland that has some delicious and unique meals at a great price and atmosphere. The town of Swiebodzin is a must to visit and while you're here, pull up a chair and enjoy the patio or outdoor seating under canopies in the square. Inside has lush seating as well, but not as much so best to call ahead during winter as I am sure it will be packed.
I highly recommend the Beef Stroganoff and the potato purée meal with one mussel. My husband hates seafood but he will pluck out the mussel and eat the rest.
The service is excellent. We have has the same young waiter each time as he speaks English. He is young and likes to teach us Polish as well. Clean restrooms and the restaurant is also attached to a Bakery/Ice cream shop. So after the meal, walk around the corner and grab an ice cream to go and enjoy the beautiful square.
We really enjoyed this place and try to meet up with our friends in the south by meeting here once a month. Its beautiful, delicious food and great wine! Try the Primitivo as pictured. read more
