Cornflake chicken breast and Pilsner urquell...what more could you ask for! The schnitzel was also delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed our meals on the patio of this restaurant. My wife had a delicious steak…read moretartare and I was very happy with the pork knuckle. Sadly, we weren't happy with the service. The staff, it seemed, could have cared less when we walked in. Our server did not improve on that impression. She seemed totally disinterested in her job and our order wasn't exactly what we ordered. A problem which could have been cleared up with a simple question. The prices were reasonable and we had a nice time visiting with a couple at the next table, so still a good evening.

We went around 8:30pm and ordered the "pork steak neck" (based on Google translate) with the summer potato salad, the sausages with corse mustard sauce (Dijon-style), grilled vegetables (eggplant, zucchini and peppers) and the baked potato with herb cream sauce (tzaziki-style). The food menu was very basic (only one page) and so was the drink menu (one beer choice: Pilsner Urquell, Czech's flagship beer and one wine: a light white wine that tasted like Riesling) but they were tasty and poured to perfection. The waiter didn't speak more than 3 words of English but he was quick and responsive and pointing, hand gestures and a few Czech words did the trick (Thank you=Díky, Wine=Vino, Beer=Pivo, Check=Čhecesky or Čheska, Water=Vóda). I would highly recommend this place as the food was very delicious and very cheap. Who can argue with that? Enjoy!
