First impression: Soooo good!…read more A friend and I happened to walk by the creperie on our quest for hot dogs in Prague 7. Once we saw this spot, we decided to only get one hot dog each so we could still have room for crepes. This was a smart decision. We walked in and the upstairs area was totally packed and reserved as it was indeed a Friday evening. I noticed stairs, pointed at them, and a server nodded (the power of non-verbal communication when you're learning a language....), so we headed downstairs. We were met with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of open seats. There was also no wifi (sad) and plenty of oddities as decor. As in, I've never seen so many wooden cats. What the. Our server was super super sweet and speedy. She took our orders (English menus are available), delivered my sparkling water, and soon our crepes arrived. I ordered the one with ice cream and hot raspberries. Oh my gosh, LOVE. I could eat that thing daily. With such great prices and a good location, I'm sure to be back to continue exploring the menu in the future! Lovely experience.

Contrary to other reviews here, my coffee was perfectly made and balanced nicely between sweet and bitter. It was a bit of a coffee cocktail with syrups and homemade whipped cream. Delicious. The cake I had was amazing. It was a chocolate cake I saw in the fridge window and I knew I had to have it. Fudgy, yet light. Chocolatey, yet breezy. It was the perfect complement to a slightly bitter coffee. Absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and the waiter spook decent English. Match that with a perfect ambience (a calm garden with the occasional quack of ducks) and you have a solid 5 star experience. It's a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip.
