Came here two times in a row during my stay in Prague. Significantly cheaper than other numerous Czech cuisine restaurants in the city, but still serves the same types of dishes.
Ordered the beef goulash with bread dumplings and a Pilsner beer (because you can't say that you've been to Prague without having had this Czech drink). I don't even like beer, but this one wasn't too bad: nice, thick layer of foam on top, went down smoothly, and a slight, bubbly aftertaste.
Portions of the beef goulash weren't huge, but definitely fills you up with its rich taste. The bread dumplings helped as well: they reminded me of the steamed bread that is common in Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine ("mantou"). Which were exactly what they were- steamed bread! :P
There's also an option to get a prix-fixe meal with three courses (soup, beef goulash, and dessert) for 139 czk (about 5€, or $6 USD), which is an incredible deal. Food is pretty good, too.
Service, though, was left to be desired, as the waiters didn't really give a crap about the customers; they just took orders, delivered and cleared dishes. Still, you will have to tip (unlike countries such as France), so consider leaving at least 6-10 czk for service. read more
