Floors were sticky, damp and looked like they'd been mopped with muddy water. 3 of the toilets were wet from the handle to the floor. Sinks covered with clear plastic garbage bags because it was out of order. Yuck. The only things nice was the exterior of the building and the actual grounds/landscaping. The vending machines were also stocked well. But who wants snack in such gross conditions?

My husband and I stopped at this service plaza when we were driving from Cleveland to Pittsburgh. The parking lot had many available spaces for vehicles. We purchased a beverage and a snack at the Caribou Coffee restaurant. The food court contained many clean tables and chairs. I used the women's restroom, and it was in good condition. I read that the truckers lounge has a 108-space parking lot, separate restrooms, complimentary shower facilities, coin-operated washers and dryers, and vended shower and laundry supplies.

What I can say about this area is that even though this service plaza is newer, it was poorly designed and poorly enforced on where vehicles can park. Inside, it almost looks deserted given the time you stop here. It looks underutilized and almost gives off a dead mall vibe when you walk in. Like every possible business was like, "Nah, I'm out." It also gives off a bit of a dirty feel to it as well. Like it wasn't properly cleaned in a while. The bathrooms have a smell to them. The dining area looks as if there is a film on tables, and it is so dim inside.

It's kind of too painful to talk about because after time, life changes to the degree that you don't even remember yourself or what it was like, just that it was something special and now it's gone and it's too much to talk about, and there are no words to describe the emotions except at this rest area is a graveyard to memories that will never be felt the same way again. It's also a perfectly functioning and clean rest area but with no gas or restaurant or anything like that.
