I have seen staff inform consumers that masks and 6feet spacing is required. There are not only signage everywhere you turn but the staff are continually cleaning and making sure the rules are enforced. I am at the rink for hockey 3-5 times a week between practice games and open skate. Thank you Chiller Staff for all your hard work keeping the facilities running safely so our kiddos can still have their season. As for the Chiller Easton I would rank the ice arena in our top 15. There are two sheets of ice, actual dressing rooms, a small concession stand and room for viewing above and around the ice rink. There is even conference rooms to rent out for parties and such. And the biggest plus the Chiller is open year round! Need somewhere to cool off during the summer months this is the place!

The Blue Jackets also allow the public to come in on certain days and see their morning skate sessions, which is pretty cool. Since the place only has one rink, public skating is pretty limited, but they do offer after school skating on Fridays as well as late night adult skate on Saturday nights for anyone in the area looking to get on the ice. Occasionally they have drop-in hockey, mainly during the off season, but they do offer a pretty competitive drop-in hockey early Friday mornings (if you can wake up and get there by 6 am). The facility offers skate sharpening and all the basic provisions that the other Chillers have, but they don't have a pro shop here, so don't expect to purchase any equipment (minus hockey tape). It really is a great ice to skate on, especially since it's the only rink in Columbus that provides natural lighting, and when they offer up more public skates in the Summer, I highly suggest checking it out.

There was a hotel, and a fancy restaurant. I learned a lot, and goofed off a lot. Today, the building has been renovated. No more hotel- athletic offices I think. No big restaurant- a small cafe, where the hotel's front desk was. No more WOSU. It's very clean and new, inside and out. Doesn't look like the auditorium gets used much, and the WOSU end looks empty. Of course, that is my impression from a quick nostalgia visit. They might be busy on weekends. There are conference rooms and meeting areas. Looks like they do catering for events. Hopefully the space is being used enough to keep it going. I saw a few students and staff, on a weekday. We got married outside and had the reception inside and under the pavillion. The venue provides you with tables and chairs, which is amazing for the price. You are able to bring your own food or high your own vendor. For alcohol, you have to purchase a temporary permit $170 and have to hire from a preferred alcohol vendor. That said, we hired the bartenders from Ohio Bartenders and purchased our own alcohol and beverages. Much cheaper option and worked perfectly. The outside space is large and perfect for any occasion. Also, the pictures you can take are just amazing. You also have access to the kitchen space which has a large standing cooler and industrial ice machine. Everything you need in one place, it's perfect. Parking is a bit scarce but when you reserve you get 26 spots located right in front on the street. I would highly recommend renting this for your next celebration of any kind.

It features a very nice and popular shelter that, in non-pandemic times, can be rented. At our visit, it looked like they were doing some work on it. There is a nice large area of picnic tables under a shady area, plus umbrella tables with a great view of the river, providing a lot of opportunities to sit and relax. There is a fountain near the shelter, though it wasn't currently running at the time of our most recent visit - it's probably a bit early in the season. Street parking is available nearby (if you can get it - it was full up when we came by), or there are garages in the area. You can also access via the trails by foot, scooter, bike, and the like. We walked over from Battelle Riverfront Park and back again.

Cohatch has over ten thousand feet of personal office space, conference rooms, a game room, and a coffee bar. Dominated by a visual appealing open stair spiral the place presents with tables, work areas, and geometric forms that suggests inspiration and creativity. They must spend a majority of their cost on cleaning because the place sparkles with stainlessness and polish. These immaculate halls are adorn with tasteful earth tones enhanced by daps of primary brights, variously matching light fixtures, and framed metal flanking borders, mirrors, and panels. The overlook room, where my meeting happened, is a large space wi5h all the essential needs. Nice booths in the corner gives the conference room a cafe feel, and the multi-armed chandeliers add a smack of class and artistry. The windows look down UA adding--believe it or not-- a kinda urban, cosmopolitan feel. It was a nice place for a meet up.
