I'm writing this review as someone who has served papers for Resilient Process Servers, LLC. Christopher McCloy is the owner of the business and operates under false pretenses. Chis hired me at the end of August of this year in Washington State to serve papers for Clark/Cowlitz County, WA. I registered to become a process server and then I went to work. The process was alright but a few red flags I should've realized was that I never talked to him on the phone, he sends payment through Zelle, and he's very unprofessional. He would email the papers to me and then I would download them and print. It would come with a cover sheet of where I need to go. He doesn't pay for any printing paper even though when hired I received a sheet of the pay for each job and it said after 50 copies he pays 10 cents for every paper printed after 50 pages. To get paid there is a log that needs to be filled out and it gets turned in every Friday before midnight and paydays were every other Fridays. I did get paid twice but then the third paycheck rolls around and he still hasn't paid me. The next payday is 10/25/25 and he will owe me for that as well. He now owes me $1,260 for the jobs I did for him. He will claim that I didn't follow directions but I did. I followed them to the T. He doesn't communicate very well either and any message he receives takes him a while to reach out. He emailed me on 10/10/25 stating that he's slowing down the business and he can't pay me right now. But that's BS. He can pay me but he won't. He's a scam artist. He's already owned four other process server businesses. He has fake addresses and phone numbers. He uses P.O. Boxes for his business addresses. He moves around so he doesn't get caught. Christopher McCloy is shady and I wouldn't trust him, work for him, or use his services. Hey, Chris, I want what's owed to me. Just Zelle me $1,260 and call it good!! Any lawyers reading this and would like to help me out and send Chris to small claims court?? I've done my research, I've printed EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION I've had with him via text, process server apps, and email. I'm ready to sue but I don't need to if I don't have to. Whoever the owner, Chris is, he is awful and extremely unprofessional. He is mean to his employees, does not assist if there is an issue without anger and impatience. This could have been a great business, with a different owner. First, after applying I heard nothing back so i reached out again. He finally called me back and stated that he must have "lost" the email. All good, I just wanted to move forward. Immediately I was sent over 100 jobs to be completed within a week! That is insane, however I attempted. When I had issues I reached out as told, yet he started yelling at me, cursing and using God's name in vain. When I asked him to stop yelling at me as I am a survivor of domestic violence and it is a trigger of mine, he literally stated, "Oh God aren't most of you women?" WHAT??! I could not believe it! Then I sent in my job logs multiple times only to be told he couldn't pay me for my work at that time. I told him I did the work I was required to with receipts and he needed to follow through on his end. He proceeds to tell me he is not my "boss" as you are a 1099 employee, and that when he gets paid then I would. I have been a process server for 10 years now and I have never not been paid for the work that I was contracted through, until Chris. He still owes me for 3 notarized services, that he required me to pay for out of my own pocket. He owes me $210 still, and will no longer respond. He is a horrible person to work for. He needs some meds to calm him down or something! He tells you it is just him and one employee working so it's "too much for him." He pays through Zelle, sketchy at best. And the payments only come if you force him to pay you your earned wages. When I told him that he is required by law to pay for my services, as we signed a contract, he threatened me with his Mother stating she is an attorney and if I wanted to go that route he would bring her to his defense, This is a horrible company ran by a horrible man with no couth and no respect for women at all.
