The walls were thin, but not too distracting if you had your TV or radio on. The shower was totally adequate, about the same size as a standard electric shower anywhere in Europe. The elevator was very small. It made for some interesting contact with other guests in the hotel, which generally involved polite smiles and apologies for accidental touching. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and well versed in several languages. Also, it is conveniently located very near to the train station, where the Metro will take you anywhere in the city. While the breakfast is a little overpriced and not particularly great, if you're in a hurry, it does the job. We had a great stay here and would recommend this hotel to our friends. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is tastefully designed with a lovely breakfast room and multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. And a rooftop and spa area that I didn't get a chance to enjoy. My room was clean, modern and well appointed with a small outdoor space. A toweling robe and slippers were a lovely addition. The hotel breakfast was quite extensive, fresh and delicious with kind and attentive servers. A special treat was the happy hour with an impressive selection of complementary hors d'oeuvres. The Art Hotel met and surpassed my every need and more.

Very rude and stalker front desk man who clearly hates his life to be obsessively monitoring each guest. He doesn't understand customer service or basic human decency at all. Just the one man with glasses (sorry I don't know his name) ruined my whole experience. I would never recommend this hotel. If management sees this, you should consider hiring someone else to take over the night shift. It was unbelievable. It was so bad that I had to book another hotel just to get away from this inhumane man. Really! I'd rather pay more to be treated with respect and have my own privacy at a so-called 4 star hotel.

Zineb was wonderful and helpful during the entire trip. There was also another woman at the front desk ( sorry, I did not get her name) who quickly circled the most popular attraction on a map and gave us very helpful directions. Our reservation was for a Classic Double Room. The actual room was great. We stayed on the 3rd floor and found that the room had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed the remote controlled, blackout shades in the room. The only potential drawback was the A/C system which was not so effective after a day of walking around in hot and humid weather. The A/C was not adjustable in the room despite there being a thermostat there. It was set pretty weak for my comfort and we were told that the front desk was not able to change it. Our room also included a Spacious bathroom that included everything you may have forgotten at home (dental kit, vanity kit, shampoo, bath soap, shower cap, comb, lotion). The restaurant is located on the top floor/roof. We made it into the restaurant for breakfast, but not during the evening. The two servers there were very professional and checked on us regularly. The spread was good and it included everything I could ask for (mini-pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, bacon, croissants, yogurt) as well as some Asian themed brunch items (steamed dumplings, sushi, etc). Overall, we had no major issues while staying there. Whenever we had a question, we called down to the front desk and immediately got an answer. My wife accidentally pulled the alarm cord in the shower, but that was resolved quickly by pressing a button located on a control panel by the front door of our room. All in all, it was a great experience.

When I went to complain about my "superior" double room (the room is about 100sq feet total, enough room for a bed and the bathroom. That's it) the manager on duty told me I had purposely booked a double room instead of a twin to save money. When the key didn't work- and the lights in the room kept on going off every other minute- I was told that I had purposefully messed with the key because I was unhappy with my room. It took them 20 minutes to make a new key. Meanwhile, the air conditioner also didn't work- and I was told there is only air conditioning in the summer, which is not what it said when I booked. Also, it's May! And the room was hot. I told the manager that considering his rudeness I wasn't going to stay in the hotel, he basically said it didn't matter, because he would make sure I paid. So I called Booking.com to complain, and they said I should go ahead and leave and book another hotel. Which I did. Then when we tried to leave, the manager *literally* locked the doors to the hotel to make sure we didn't leave until I signed my credit card. I did so, under duress, because we had just taken a red eye flight from NYC and needed to go to our new hotel and get some sleep. This hotel isn't just awful, it's run by the most bitter, awful people in existence. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The only issue was the toilet is extremely close to the shower, and the shower was so small that most of the bathroom got very wet when someone was showering. It was good location, about a 20 minute walk from city center and close to lots of good restaurants and shopping. It was also about a ten minute walk to the train/ metro station which was convenient. Overall a great experience!
