Before I took my loan, I specifically asked Geoff S. if there was any prepayment penalty for paying off the loan early. He told me no, and said I could pay the remaining balance anytime. My loan was for $274,920.00, and I made three payments. When I asked for the payoff amount, they told me it was $30,010.45. When I questioned why, Geoff said I could pay the "remaining balance of your remaining terms." See the trick? At first, they said "remaining balance," but now they're using "remaining terms" to justify extra charges. Don't fall for the same confusion--make sure you understand every word before signing anything with them!

He will pretend to be giving you the best deal in town on initial interest rate. He'll offer something like 15% initially, but here's the kicker. Once your 90 days is up and you are supposed to jump down to lower rate, so you can start chopping down the balance, he only takes you down like 2% from original rate, so you end up paying maybe $30 toward balance after interest. More horrific than anything, is the fact that he has a cast (I'm leaving this to imagination, it's Buford Highway people.) of folks working for him who never knew what my interest rate or payment amount was. They would literally speak Spanish to each other back and forth with me standing there in regard to what to charge me each time, like it was a guessing game. This was a nightmare, and I wished I'd done more research and diligence. I am just trying to warn you to not make the mistake of trusting Instant Car Title Loans on Buford.
