Pretty much it's going to come down to a convenient location, friendly staff and and that little bit of extra that draws you in. At the beginning of 2017 I left my old bank which was a few miles away from my house and that I had been at for 12 years, to come to Park Community. I will say that this branch isn't the most convenient bank for where I live. For the extra little travel time it is for sure worth the 15 minute drive to become a Shepherdsville Park Community member. The staff at the Shepherdsville Park Community Credit Union is more welcoming than any bank I've ever been to. Coming into the bank you will not find a speck of dirt anywhere. A very warm and comfortable atmosphere greats you coming through the foyer. It's nice to be greeted by your name as soon as you walk through the door. There is rarely a long line due to the knowledgeable tellers. They are able to process your transactions quickly and accurately, all while projecting a positive, friendly and energetic attitude. They are quick with a "happy birthday" on your special day and just might have something for you! That little extra that they give you. Most days something is happening. They're is always coffee and some sort of snack set out for members. Around any holiday you can count on the staff to be dressed for the occasion and have extra treats available for you. If there is a problem they are quick to solve it. If you are looking for the best bank around, this is your place!!!

Best lender in Louisville! I can't say enough great things…read moreabout my experience with Home Loan Xpress. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and far less stressful than I imagined. My loan officer took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my (many) questions, and made sure I felt confident at every step. They worked quickly and efficiently to get me pre-approved, kept me updated throughout the underwriting process, and even helped me find a better interest rate than I expected. Communication was excellent, and I never felt like I was just another file on someone's desk. If you're looking for a team that genuinely cares about getting you into the right home loan--and making sure you understand the whole process--I highly recommend Home Loan Xpress.

pj@centurymortgage.com There's one reason and one reason…read moreonly that I went to Century mortgage, the name is PJ. PJ Tapp helped me, not only once, but twice. When I went to buy my 1st house, I went thru 3 different lenders that I decided not to use because I couldn't understand what they was telling me about the loans. That scared me, I was thinking, I am not going to feel comfortable signing anything if I don't understand everything. Purchasing a house is huge and the last thing I want is to get tricked into signing a lot of papers that I don't understand. I was told about about PJ Tapp, so I gave her a try and I am glad that I did. She explained every little thing, she wasn't pushy or rushing things, she was very professional, had a lot of patience and returned my phone calls even when she was out of the office. There was times when she returned my calls while attending events to make sure that she got back with me. So, when it was time for me to purchase another house, I went right back to her and again everything went smooth like the first time. Words can't express how grateful I am to have run into PJ Tapp. She is 100% recommended. Nothing better than to have a smooth transaction when buying a house.

Jim came highly recommended by a family friend, and he exceeded our expectations. As first-time home buyers we were often in over our heads, and had more questions than answers. Jim walked us through the whole process, and must have spent hours on the phone with me answering questions. He was always a pleasure to work with, was extraordinarily patient with us, and worked hard to get us a great loan. We ended up buying a house in Danville, KY, quite a ways away from Jim's office in Louisville, but it didn't affect the process in the least--Jim was always available when we needed him, and made an intimidating process an absolute breeze. As a matter of fact, as a Danville native, Jim already knew everyone we were working with in town, including both realtors--they are as fond of Jim as we were! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for a mortgage, and will not hesitate in the least to recommend him to any and everyone I know shopping for a new home or interested in refinancing--he's the absolute best.
