My husband and I were married in October 2015. It was a very quickly planned wedding as it was moved up a year and to PA due to my grandmother being ill. Repash Studio was recommended to me by a friend. I checked out their portfolio and was impressed by what I saw. After speaking to Rick Repash about our situation, he was willing to work with my family and gave us a fair price. We were told that they take about 100 photos per hour for events like this (which for us means 400 photos for the 4 hours we paid for) and that they would edit those photos. The day of our wedding, everyone was running a little behind, but I didn't worry about that because I requested photos be taken of my friends and I getting ready and of our guests (we only had 25 people or so). I didn't pay much attention to the woman taking photos because my focus was to married my beloved and be with my family and friends. After leaving the church, we had some problems with my bustle which delayed our entrance to the restaurant for dinner. This caused our photographer to start rushing my new husband and me. She rushed us around the room and over to the cake to take a "fake" cake cutting photo. She finally left, 15 minutes early.
About a week later, we were on our honeymoon and I was able to look at our online portfolio. I was floored. We had a scant 270 photos, of which two or three had been edited. The 45 minutes of getting ready before the wedding had 5 photos. The 30 minutes prior to entering the restaurant had zero photos. All of the photos had a "point-and-shoot" feel to them. Nothing looked professional, and not all of our guests had their photos taken (how do you miss people when there were only 25 present?). In the photos of my (now deceased) grandmother, the photographer didn't even notice a pants leg up, or my dress being stepped on, or a tie that was crooked, or the junk in the background. The photos I'm proud of from that day were taken by smart phones by our guests. I am disgusted and heart-broken from the lack of professionalism by the photographer and quality of the product we paid a lot of money for. I will never be able to recreate that day, those memories. And what we have to show for it is appalling. I still cannot look through these photos without crying from all of the missed memories and the amateur work for the price of a skilled professional. read more
