Poor service. Slow response. No on staff maintenance. Poor accounting and financial reporting.

POOR . ignore issues phoned in. vehicle storage on property. not approved by rules. Taylor Creek employees ignore phone called issues. Condo fees went up by $50 in January. fixed income people cannot stand this raise financially. REAL ESTATE people love it, because this allows for more loans to be approved. Bids for maintenance or improvements are OPENED by Rentz management before being presented to the board. THIS allows for FAVORITE CONTRACTORS to be advised on what amount to bid to win the job. Board members ARE USUALLY NOT EXPERIENCED IN THE FIELD OF OPERATING A PROPERTY. Dont realize when they are being HOODWINKED . I would love to be able to pay my HOA fee over the phone or on line. I've searched their website to see if there was a way to do it but even the pay by guest feature requires an owner ID and does not allow you to create one. They don't answer the phone or even have an answering machine which makes the only other option to write a letter and send a check, buy an old fashioned envelope and put a stamp on it and send by snail mail or drive there. We have a small building in downtown Covington that has two commercial spaces and five units. We needed a property manager. I'm thrilled we could have Rentz come on and be that property manager. We have 4 owner occupied units and the other three are landlord situations. Not only did Rentz help us ensure our paperwork was up to speed with the state - they advised us where we need to be and have really just all around been awesome. Many, many thanks to Bob Rentz, Rentz Management, & their Snow Removal Contractor! I needed my sidewalk shoveled after our light snowfall Wednesday. My appointment for my covid vaccine was scheduled Wednesday afternoon. I called Mr. Rentz & requested my walkway to be cleared. Very soon after I had a clear walkway for my appointment. Sharon Demoss is so incompetent. She just sent letters to the entire neighborhood with wrong information. The sad part is, they sent a correction letter and it's still wrong. Our monthly payment coupons say our late fee is $20. It states in the letter it's $35. I emailed Sharon about this THREE YEARS AGO. Still not fixed. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic to see how truly incompetent these people are. And don't expect them to actually speak English. They sent a correction letter that said "the fees have will be..." This woman has NEVER proofread a letter in her life. So glad we pay these people to manage our finances. It took a few tries to find the right time to get Bob Rentz to come to my condo to look at my deck but when he came he went above and beyond while here. He helped me carry a heavy object up the steps, he fixed my balcony door that would not lock and reviewed the deck and gave me some hope for good fixes in the near future that will improve. He also noticed the bottom section of my garage door and weather proof strip needed replaced and called Rentz while he was here to put in the order. I really appreciated it. I do wish Rentz would power-wash our decks on a regular basis because they get so filthy and it's not easy to clean them. Thanks Bob. read more

Worst HOA management I've gone through. Sharon is a total bitch. When asking her why I had to make a $775 payment for an emergency plumber coming to my neighbors condo below me, she said "well someone has to pay for it". The invoice was sent to Rentz Management and site listed in the invoice was my neighbors below. Sharon lacked knowledge about the property she manages, when I asked her why my neighbors insurance wasn't paying for it. Sharon said "well I don't know about that stuff, all I know is someone has to pay for this". On top of that- she has been sending me a bill for this monthly yet couldn't answer the phone calls and voicemails I had left her regarding more information. read more

There management they provide at Highland Meadows in northern KY in horrible. They don't return calls of fix issues in a timely manner if they rectify at all. I was warned when I bought on this community, hopefully their contract is up soon and we can get someone who does a decent job. read more

We recently had 5 inches of rain in our condo complex. Rentz came out in the rain on a Saturday afternoon to help clear a clogged drain pipe. That is above and beyond and our units stayed dry. read more

This is the second negative review of Rentz Management I have made in 3 years. The first was over a skylight that was shattered in our bedroom. I had to obtain counsel to correct the situation and have a new one installed after 3 months of negotiation with the company and the HOA. It cost me $250 out of my pocket to obtain counsel to resolve the situation. As of last Friday July 21 I noticed a hornets nest in a tree that I was trimming and reported it to Sharon Demoss. She told me that she would put in a work order to remove the nest. As of today July 28, 2017 it has not been removed nor have I heard about the progress with this situation. While I has trimming the limbs several came at me an I had to jump off a ladder to get to safety. I was out of town for 3 days and saw that the nest was still in the tree by our condo, I called Sharon and left a message about the nest still in the tree and what were they going to do to solve the problem. Rentz Management does not care about the health or safety of the homeowners at Tall Trees Condos in Burlington. They are not effective nor efficient in responding to homeowners concerns. Additionally they had hired workers to remove algae from the sides of several condos. The workers only worked on two (2) buildings and the remainder still have green algae on the sides of the buildings. When will this be resolved? We need to explore other avenues of property management. They are not the only game in town read more
