I was charged 93.28 to my card, may not be much to some but it was much for me. On 12/26, I called to make sure my order was correct and if I could get a receipt for my payment. The two girls who spoke to me on the phone, were terrible and treated me with total disrespect. I am 65 years old, and they were talking down to me like they were scolding a little child. Yelling at me, "we do this every day, the flowers will be where they're supposed to be on the day they're supposed to be there!!!" Her funky attitude was so much to the extent that I had to tell the girl on the phone to watch her tone with me. The other girl was in the background, "yeah, yeah" in that girl's support. I was a paying customer asking reasonable questions. What's wrong with these people? It appeared they wanted to argue and fight with me. Complete attitude adjustments are needed, and customer service etiquette is very much lacking for these girls. Not that I care, but you will be out of business if they treat customers like this. I will never order from Butchart again.

Now he says its on us because we're the problem complaining the machines can't last. He's not coming to fix the washer. I would never spend my money here ever again.

Some of the items were on the pricier side, but the items on sale were affordable and reasonable. The shop is small, but extremely organized and items are easily found. I took our shampooer in for a service after a sprayer nozel stopped working. The furniture attachment worked perfectly. The man sitting behind the counter stated he needed a $75 dollar deposit to work on it, which I was stupid enough to pay. He then stated, "You should pay me more". Why would any normal businessman make a statement lie this? I asked, why should I pay you more, and he gave me some unintelligible answer. He then tried to sell me a used vacuum, that he stated was new. The canister still had water in the vacuum so I asked, if it's new why is there water in the canister and he replied "because I am testing it". This man was a prolific liar. The price he wanted for the "new" shampooer was the same price for a boxed one at Walmart. Anyway, I left the store, angry. A week later I called about the shampooer I left there, and he stated that it was a "piece of junk". I then asked to come out and pick up my shampooer, and he stated that it was in Kansas City, about 40 milles away. Long story short, I never got the shampooer back, and he kept my deposit. He also lied to me and tried to extort money from me. If I can get one person to NOT do business with American Vacuum on the Belt Highway, in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I will feel that justice has somehow been served. That place is one thieving business. Customer beware.

The owner took me under her wing and promised to put together a lovely bouquet in an adorable duck vase. Our classmate had raised a number of ducks & we felt this would cheer her. Great communication over the several days and a photo was sent to me for approval before the arrangement was delivered. So happy I chose to call the local florist directly! Flooding made it a difficult time for deliveries of flowers from Kansas City, but we talked through options. It's an adorable arrangement!

Which I did not see for a few hours. Now, the order is cancelled, and I cannot get same day delivery because it is too late.
