This was my go-to for appliance purchases for years, however, we recently purchased an LG…read morewasher/dryer. The dryer needed to be set up to side vent, so I paid extra for them to do it. Well, they broke the side venting kit and left my dryer venting to the inside of the dryer itself! A huge fire hazard. As I was trying to connect it back myself I noticed quite a bit of lint, so I pulled the pipes out just to find that my new LG washer/dryer was a used model. Update: Lee & Jack's eventually agreed to replace the unit.

Apparently, ethics codes aren't used here. We saw this property online (because at the time, lived…read morein Columbus and didn't have transportation yet) We were rented a house in Staunton on Nov 1, 2024. On Nov 4, 2024 we had washing machine dirty water filling up our bathtub. Called, they sent out a plumber and snaked the drain. About 3.5 weeks later, same problem, only it had gotten colder, and noticed a hairline crack in the toilet. Reported that. Plumber once again came out, found out the drainage to septic pipe was broken and needs to be excavated as well as shoddy plumbing in the bathroom (pipes burst from pressure - not frozen) . Then 12/23/24 they gave us a 'notice to vacate' because "the plumbing is unrepairable" - toilet still cracked, and we have to get a mop bucket full of water from the kitchen (because they never fixed the shower/tub water feeds) to flush the toilet, can't bathe or shower, now, under law, the lease SHOULD protect us. No matter how you look at it, being put into a situation where we have to find a VACANT place to move to in the dead of winter in Ohio 43160 area- impossible! Can't wait to talk to a judge about the way this company operates and oh yeah, after giving my wife a 'letter to vacate' we haven't heard one call, not one email asking if "have you found a place to go?" Oh yeah- that's ethically and morally right~ NOT . Let's go see the judge Becky!
