This store is simply amazing. Rennick Antiques was founded by Ron Rennick in 1972 as Rennick House in Boston, MA. In 1980 they moved to Vero Beach on Dixie Hwy and relocated to their present location in Royal Palm Pointe in 1991. This family run business handles estates and collections from Miami to Orlando. Inside the store you will find room after room crammed floor to ceiling with art, antiques, jewelry, collectibles, china, and furniture. You have to be careful as you maneuver because every surface contains a treasure. Prices were out of my budget but if you are looking for a certain item I am sure they have it. Their collection spans time as well as continents. I saw many items that I have only seen in museums like a German mustache cup. They have one they talk about on their tour at the St. Lucie Historical Society museum. It's a china cup with a built in lip to catch a gentleman mustache so it doesn't get wet when drinking coffee or tea. Even if you are only browsing it is like a museum in here. I loved my visit to Rennick's. You could easily get lost for hours. The staff was so sweet and welcoming too. If you have any interest in history or antiques then you will want to come here because this store is a wonderful place to time travel back to the finer things of the past. read more

This is definitely not your run of the mill antique store. Once you cross the threshold and enter the store it's apparent this is not a junk dealer but more of a dealer of antiques with a little of every type of oddity you can imagine. There are very fine pieces of art and antiques with a mixture of cultural expressions from estate sales and family heirlooms. The prices are what you should expect for the area although I met the person managing the store I didn't have the opportunity to deal on any pieces. This would be the place to come to get fine items appraised and to pick up things you'd never see at your local flea market. The selection is huge so plan your time here accordingly there is lots to see. read more
