Everything from start to finish is a curated and intentional experience designed to truly relax and comfort you. Everyone I have interacted with thus far is so professional, kind and gentle. Angela is an incredible masseuse. She is sincere, knowledgeable, skilled and makes an effort to remember you. I've done one body dry brush and massage treatment and one 50 minute Swedish massage and both were lovely. The 2 hour treatment obviously takes the cake but the massage is so targeted and thorough. Angela is actively helping me learn to be more in tune with my body and where it holds tension and that is a huge development for me. The signature oil diffuser they have out at this location is delicious and immediately bathes you in calm when you enter. The front desk is always informational, helpful and prompt. The changing room, restroom, shower, lockers, and quiet room are in perfect condition and constantly being cleaned up and restocked. There are plenty amenities and products available for use in the changing room and a few snacks, a magazine, and cold water in the quiet room. You are treated with a tea or other beverage (never paid attention because I'm all for the tea but maybe a wine or a sparkling wine?) before and after your service. You receive 15% off your next session if you book again while checking out. There are seasonal specials and packages if you want to opt for more than one service as well. Oh, did I mention the massage beds are heated and they provide you a warm, weighted neck/shoulder wrap after your service? They've truly thought of everything. As someone who works in client experience herself, Woodhouse on River Run is the real deal.

The changing rooms were very clean and nicely stocked with everything you need. The entire spa had a beautiful ambience and I felt very relaxed. I arrived early, so I had plenty of time to relax in the waiting room with a cup of tea. I do wish that the spa had amenities like a sauna, but I still had a great experience. My skin looks great and I feel so relaxed. I'll be back again soon!

If you need skin care recommendations she can also suggest products that help with skin issues/problems. The med spa carries a great range of skin care to suit your needs & will ship out of state if needed. I was very surprised when I tried to schedule myself for Juvederm injections recently…read more 9 and 10 years ago I received Juvederm injections at Dr. Anderson's spa and it went perfectly. 2 years ago I went in for Juvederm injections and had a bad reaction. The nurse asked what other medications I recently had and I told her I had a Physer covid booster 2 days prior. She quickly got an antidote to neutralize the reaction. She was apologetic for someone not telling me to avoid certain medications before getting Juvederm injections. She treated me very well, apologized and gave me ice pads for my face. And I felt it was my fault for getting the covid booster before the Juviderm. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I was very surprised. It was very ugly. It was surly a bad reaction. I texted the spa and told them that my face was very ugly. Now, fast forward to present day: I made the appointment on November 19th. Then I received a call from a woman who said that I could not return to the spa at all for anything because of the way I acted after the Juvederm reaction 2 years ago. She continued to accuse me of many things. She told me that, at that time, she tried to call me back to the spa, and I wouldn't come. (I don't remember this) She said, that I told her to stop harassing me. I believe this as a lie. I would never say that because she was nice to me at the time. I remember the nurse was not mad at me 2 years ago, nor was I mad at her or upset at anyone. It was a continual verbal abuse on the phone and a very big surprise. I don't know why she would make these accusations at this time. Possible she thought that the same Juvederm reaction would take place if I had it done, and it would embarrass her or the spa?? Or, she didn't like me texting the spa to tell how I saw my face? I don't know. My wife and I spent well over $45,000 on plastic surgery and some on Juvederm from Doctor Anderson during the last 20 years and everything was great with high quality, perfect surgeries. Why am I treated this way now? This above is the absolute truth. I am a Christian and it would be very difficult for me to lie.

My wait time to be seen was longer than my consult/actual appointment with Dr. Reagan. The reason I had decided to become a new patient here was because I had seen Dr. Reagan a few years ago before at a different location... and she was not like this at all. I don't know what changed, but having Providers that are not dedicated to their patients and their needs... and are not even motivated in the slightest, is not how you retain patients. Will not be coming back here and I will be canceling my second appointment.

The massages are fine, you get what you pay for…read more As for the 1 star. Know that when you sign a wellness agreement, you will have to move heaven and earth to cancel the auto-renewal of your agreement. Reading another user's review about how if you go in physically to cancel and the manager is not there, they will not help you - I submitted multiple emails as well as tried to go through the Massage Envy corporate channels. As they are a franchise location, it is a bust. Anyone reading my review trying to cancel their membership, know the corporate team can't cancel for you, but they will still elevate your request to the franchise manager/owner - it's still worth doing. I also emailed the email address listed in my wellness agreement: "All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to us at the above address or by email at clinic0210@massageenvy.com and will become effective ten (10) days after the cancellation request is received by us or upon your receipt of written approval by us in the event of a cancellation in accordance with (c) above. Any payments due under this Wellness Agreement prior to the cancellation effective date will be charged by us as scheduled. If you have paid in full, and your Wellness Agreement is terminated for any of the reasons identified in this paragraph, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund based on the months remaining in your Initial Term. Some state laws may provide you with additional cancellation rights." Apparently, emailing to request that you stop any auto-renewal of your membership won't be helpful, because you are technically not canceling. Not to worry, the auto-renewal clause is in the Payment Terms section. It is not vague at all. "Your Wellness Agreement will thereafter automatically renew and continue on a month-to-month basis until canceled or nonrenewed by you or terminated by us in accordance with the terms of this Wellness Agreement." Reaching out via email twice 3 months in advance as well as talking to the business manager does not meet the standard of this vague agreement language around auto renewal. Once you hear back from management, they will call you, trust me, they will not email you. They will ask you to stay, but will cancel the auto-renewal and check back in with you on the day of your final payment. Do not trust this. What that actually means is they will email you when you have completed the last membership payment and vaguely reference that you have spoken on the phone. They will not mention your cancellation request; they will not mention anything other than: "You may remember me from our conversation regarding your membership a couple of months ago when I told you I would send this email to you once your final payment was received. How have we done for the past couple of months? How are you feeling about your Wellness Program? Please feel free to give us a call back at 817-732-7200 and ask for myself or my Business Manager. If we happen to be unavailable, or if it is more convenient for you, please also feel free to reply to this email and I'd be glad to assist you further." I mistakenly took this as a cordial feedback request, now that my membership was over, and it was a courtesy email. If I had read more closely, I would have known better, but the person I spoke to on the phone was extremely reassuring. When I spoke with that same person this morning, after emailing and calling twice to ask about why I am still being charged, their recollection of our conversation went quite differently. They never promised to cancel the auto-renewal; that's not possible without a form. They can send me the form now, but the charges that have already accrued cannot be reversed. They are, get a load of this, UNABLE to refund a charge as a business. Well, isn't that interesting? I have never heard of a business that could not reverse/refund charges. Would never come here again if you paid me.
