My agent, Christine, had been a saving grace, a reassuring voice, and has searched, seemingly, the ends of the earth to find me a better price. I'm not the best driver so I've had to make a lot of unfortunate calls to her over the years and in those times I always feel extremely stupid and really down- no one likes getting into an accident, even if its a minor fender bender. But Christine has always been extremely kind and handled the situation the way a patient mother would and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend Santo, and specifically Chris, to anyone looking for a good agent. She treats every customer as if they are her ONLY customer, and it makes a world of difference. I had to leave Santo because they couldn't beat a competitors price but if the price difference had been even a couple hundred dollars and not $1,000, I would have easily chosen Santo just to keep Chris as my agent.

When I got there, James Santo the owner came out "flailing his hands in the air like a lunatic" and said "you didn't tell me your son had a ticket". I explained that I didn't know he had one ticket. But he was still acting like a crazy man, and said "I can't give you insurance"! He didn't say "the insurance would cost more", like other normal insurance companies would...just "I can't give you insurance". Honestly, I don't think I have ever met a crazier person than this lunatic in quite some time. I just stood there in amazement! I hardy think tempers and dealing with the public blend. I just left the office and couldn't believe my ears. I've had a lot of insurance over the years, but this guy takes the cake. Could I give this insurance agency ZERO stars? I put together a complete scanned package of all our declaration pages and sent them off...nothing but crickets. Resent them again and followed up with a call...connected with the individual ( again) and was told "he just got them". Actually said he thought it was " cute" how I blocked all the pricing of my current policies. He committed to have the quotes to me in 1-3 days max. A week has passed and just more crickets. I thought contacting an agency in our town when render some responsive local service. That has not been the case. Taking our business elsewhere.

He had told me I needed to sign a broker of record doc for him to get quotes. He never stated that signing would switch the insurance agent. He stated he needed the form signed so he could receive a current Record of Loss. I had left voice mails and sent emails regarding the quotes, never heard back. I don't deal with businesses that don't follow up so I never pursued answers. Sept 15th 2025, I open my renewal policy and I have 2 trucks listed that I haven't had since April. I found out AFTER CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY, BROWNELL via Rick jrs manipulation....that Brownell was now my auto agent. Made another call and sent more emails.......no response from them. Just the epitome of a slimy insurance sales people. Trust is gained in drops and lost by the bucket load. Brownells has proven to be completely untrustworthy, in my opinion...as demonstrated by their actions.
