Where to start..
The service is very slow, extremely so. We were the only 2 customers when I ordered our meals, it took around 30 minutes to get them. And they were stone cold when they did arrive.
I had the "Gourmet French Breakfast", it wad anything but. 2 slices of salami that tastes stale and here very thin, dry and way over cooked. 1 slice of bacon, again very thin and dry. A hash brown that was obviously a frozen one, so tasteless. The mushrooms had been cooked with way too much garlic. Cold, hard fried eggs. The "turkish toast" consisted of 2 slices approx. 3 cms wide and approx. 8 cms long. A cold half tomato, and you gave a tasteless, dry and cold meal.
My dining partner had "French Toast". That consisted of 2 pieces of bread that appeared to have had the egg/milk wiped over them, then they were thrown in a pan for a very quick cook. The bread was dry, and tasteless, and was only about 1 cm thick. Not my idea of "French Toast". The Bacon with this was also very thinly sliced, dry and over cooked. The only thing that gave any flavour was the Maple Syrup that came with it.
For a cafe that is presenting itself as "French" it does not achieve this outcome at all.
I have to give 1 star because you can't give a zero star rating.
Not worth the effort of another visit when we were the only customers and the meal took so long and was cold and tasteless.
Wouldn't recommend. read more
