This is a phenomenal resource for parents and children. One of our kids participates in the on-site…read moreafter-school program at a local elementary school. The program includes music, dance, arts & crafts, and Spanish - and our kid is actually learning every day, coming home with handmade art projects and spouting new Spanish words. The teachers are not just babysitters, not by any means - they are talented and interested in their subject matter. There are just a few kids for each teacher, so everyone receives personal attention. It's a fantastic way to enrich our kid's education, and we're grateful to have found a program that adds so much value and also gives us flexibility in our working schedules. I know this sounds like a particularly effusive review, but rest assured that we received no compensation of any kind for it. We just hope other parents will take advantage of the resource so that it will continue to be offered at our kid's school.

He's a fantastic teacher that brings 100 percent every class. i can definitely tell he has a background in theater because he knows how to captivate his young audience like no other. we also recently discovered Jam Sessions with Sydney and she is wonderful as well. i also appreciate that their is a limit on capacity, some children's classes we've attended are packed and it's a bit stressful for me when the babies are (literally) crawling all over each other. kids at work is organized, clean, and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating over the phone and in person.

I would highly recommend you bring your children here. There are a lot of art places around but what differentiates this one is how amazing Orit is with the kids. I did a paint night here too and it really helped me relax. Better then yoga or meditation!

If you're a 501(c)3 company, you really can't find a better discount in the city (50% off). Even…read morewithout that discount, they have really competitive prices for the space they offer. You also really couldn't ask for more friendly staff on the phone. The staff are equally friendly in person...when they're at their desk, that is. During my first visit, I went to the wrong floor to check in. The gentleman was so honestly nice about redirecting me and ensuring that I would be taken care of well on the proper floor. When I arrived on said floor, 15 minutes before my rehearsal was scheduled to start, no one was there. I waited for 5 minutes. Still, no one. I waited a little longer. No one. So I went back to the original floor I was on. The gentleman was very nice and helped me with my reservation. Unfortunately, since I was on the wrong floor and had to do starter paperwork, the delay of having no on at the desk on the other floor made me late for my rehearsal. They also only email you a receipt....which is a bit inconvenient if you're dealing with the financial end of a company that wants hard copy receipts. It's even more inconvenient when there's no receipt waiting for you when you check your email, and have to call the next day to have it resent. The a/c was also only working in the hallways, not in the rehearsal room, even though they clearly state that all studios are air-conditioned. Fortunately, we were rehearsing after the heat wave, and the fan they provided made the room bearable. Had it been on a hotter day of the year, we would have had an issue. On the plus side, and even though it took a hot (hehe ;-) second for requests to be fulfilled, they did their best to get us the music stands and other things we needed for our rehearsal. The space was quite large and clean. The piano ws in tune, even if it did slide at times while being played. There was no trash can in the room. But that is being nit-picky. One really annoying thing for a music rehearsal was a fairly consistent high-pitched noise that seemed to be coming from the pipes. I know they can't control that. It just made singing complicated music that much more complicated. The only time I was thoroughly unhappy was when their desk staff asked my Stage Manager to return the stands we were using to another floor for them. I was aggravated because I was paying for a service and to use the space/equipment; not to have to haul around the equipment we were renting. I've never encountered that before. It put me off quite a bit. But the waiting area is quite nice and comfortable. Actually one of the best in the city. So major plus there. All in all, we will continue to rent from them since they are so nice, the space is clean, the "meh" aspects are dealable, and I have yet to find a better 501(c)3 discount. If we weren't getting the discount, I'd probably pay a little more for a studio in a more central location with more consistency in delivering the amenities they advertise. But the kids who work here are nice, and it's worth giving them a shot to see if they meet your needs and standards.
