And the few times we have, it wasn't for long. They always make sure they know what you want before they cut. There is one lady there, I can't remember her name, but she is awesome! Usually they are all laughing and having a good time, which is a great atmosphere. We've always been happy with how our hair looks after. I had very thick and medium-length hair that was thinned and unevenly layered in the front. Though I asked for layers, I did not ask for the layering and thinning to the extent where my ponytail is now a horse tail with few hairs. The front layers has shaped my head like a coconut. I'm confused as to how the daughter and mother have fantastic hair, but left me with a haircut that was trendy in the early 2000s when extensive layering and thinning was popular. I do not suggest this place for young Asian girls looking for a haircut. The daughter did mention 12 years of experience, but, ironically, it just may not be experience with cutting asian hair. I will now be getting extensions to gain my thickness and evenness back. The hair cut was 39.99.

When I got there, they had my booked appointment logged into the computer system. I arrived early and they got me started immediately. The place was clean. Everybody was professional and they had 90s R&B playing in the background. Cynthia was so patient and gentle with my natural, thick, long hair. She shampooed, deep conditioned & blow-dried it with such care. She deep conditioned it so well that she was able to finger detangle my hair during the entire blow drying process. I truly felt like I was at a spa. I felt so relaxed and I never had to worry about her damaging my hair. Also, this was the first time that I did not feel apologetic for my natural, thick, long hair. Kyle cuts my hair and does a fabulous job. One of the other guys must have used to do hair competitions because there are awesome old school 'do pics by his station. All the other customers seem really comfortable and happy to be there when ever I come (which is only once every 3 months or so). Even when waiting forever to get it cut, I've received compliments (well, Kyle has by proxy) in the form of "wow, even though it's really too long, you can tell it was cut well". Good job Kyle!
