My dad has been at BV for nearly 3 yrs. mostly in their Memory Care. The services have grossly…read moredeclined. The ratio of care provided per client isn't sufficient, leaving the staff overworked, insufficient coverage to meet client needs, and causing too many incidents putting everyone at risk for a major disaster. Cleanliness, care, and services are all handled by the CNA and med tech staff which isn't sustainable. Clients are left alone seated in the community area or wandering the halls without a caregiver insight for extended periods of time. Client's belongings are continuously lost from poor laundry services and client neglect to watch them as they wander into each other's private rooms, roam through belongings and sleep in their beds. Food is handled by the same CNAs responsible for cleaning/caring for client's personal needs and hygiene. I've talked with the directors and staff. The staff is stressed out, the director is left to work with the scaled down resources from his leadership, and the regional director is in denial of the conditions of this once beautiful place. Without acknowledgement improvements are inevitable. Price increases with services continuously on the decline. The elderly clients deserve so much better than this. BV please get it together and stop sacrificing quality services for more revenue.

Corie is an absolutely vile human being. She has NO tact, nothing but fake kindness & concern and is more concerned with money than the actual individuals (and their families) that live there. The CNAs bust their butts and don't get the credit they deserve. They are overworked and underpaid but they do the best they can. IF Grace employed enough people, the level of care could potentially be improved, but the staff/resident ratio is severely out of balance. TLDR: They don't care about the residents, they care about their checkbooks.

I admitted my husband into Southland Health and Rehabilitation on November 11, 2021 for physical…read moretherapy after suffering a stroke.  Upon admission he was placed into a bed that was too small for his body frame, as he is currently 6' 1".  I complained immediately about the bed and was told that they would put an extender on it to accommodate his stature.  As time went on, he was still in the same bed and no remedy had occurred to accommodate him until three (3) days before he was being discharged, by then the damage was already done, which resulted in him getting an ulcer on both heels of his feet from the pressure of his feet against the hard surface of the footboard and not being able to move them because of his limited mobility. I am still currently treating his heels three (3) months later and counting.  He could have lost a foot as the left foot was severely damaged especially being a diabetic. To make matters worse, no one had even noticed his heels had sores on them, until I brought it to their attention.  Needless to say I was very disappointed with the service at this facility.  I would give this facility a zero plus rating.

I visited several other facilities that had assisted living and memory care since she would need both. None of the other facilities provided both types of care + the loving, family atmosphere of Ashley Glen. One of the top reasons for choosing AG was their long time employees - - many of the staff have been there for 20+ years, which was unheard of in any of the other facilities. My Mom has thrived at AG and I can attest to the fact that the residents are treated like family. The facility is like a comfy home - clean, well decorated, nice touches of home, good meals, etc. The activities for both sides (assisted living and memory care) are very good. The outdoor areas are beautiful and well-maintained (my Mom loves spending time outdoors and enjoys watching the birds, flowers, trees, etc.) I visit my Mom most every day so I get to see what is going on very regularly. Any questions or concerns are addressed quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend checking out Ashley Glen when you have a loved one who needs assisted living or memory care, it is such a wonderful facility! Our family feels blessed that Mom is living at Ashley Glen, it has been a beautiful experience.

I cannot say enough great things about Ashley Glen. Their staff is made up of highly trained, well managed professionals who cared for my father around the clock. Their expertise, care and passion for what they do made this the best possible experience under the circumstances for my father and family. My family will always be grateful to "Patty Penticuff" (Resident Care Director) and the entire staff. Without any question, I would highly recommend this facility.

The Care Quality is very tentative and warm, while the therapist are working with the children. Very one on one, hands on. The Office Experience was warm and welcoming and I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door. The wait time was about 10 minutes until we were ready to go back for therapy. I'd definitely recommend this location. I was very pleased with the services my son received today. It was the overall attentiveness for me.
