I rarely write reviews but I feel it is necessary to let all parents know about this daycare. First…read moreof all, I have 3 children and I have lived in a few different states so I have seen a lot of great, good, fair and terrible daycare/preschools. Noah's Ark is one of the worst. First impression is dirtiness but I gave them a pass because it is on a farm. Next my daughter had developed pimples in her diaper area. That seemed to get better on weekends but then come back during the week while attending daycare. My husband picked our daughter up early one day, and the teacher changed her diaper without using any wipes. It was only a "pee diaper" but did they ever use wipes? and was that the reason for the diaper rash pimple bumps? Thankfully she does not attend anymore and her butt has healed! Lastly, I picked up my daughter on friday (paid $160 for the next week) right before the COVID19 was crazy and they said school is closed the following week. But sent home a paper saying they are going to do everything they can to stay open. So I texted her teacher Ms. Shay at 3pm for clarification because it was very contradicting and she said I had to speak to the owner Ms. Betty. However, Ms. Betty left her phone, so she would bring it to her at 6pm after school closed and have her return my call. Ms. Betty would not return my text/phone calls all weekend. I was highly concerned, and had so many questions, was there a child there that showed signs and symptoms of COVID19 or what. I worried the whole weekend and watched my child for fever, cough, SOB. I had no idea if my 2 year old was exposed or not. Talk about being scared and feeling helpless. Ms. Betty sent a generic text saturday at 4:50pm that said I will get back to you on monday during school hours. Ms. Betty did call monday am and said it was their discretion to close for the week, not because of any children showing signs or symptoms, but just to clean and sanitize the building, and they will not return my $160. Ms. Betty also said she works 50 hours a week and her weekends are for herself. I tried to explain why I was so upset and she just kept interrupting me over and over, saying they are not going to be open because they are cleaning and disinfecting the school. She was acting cold and uncaring about my legit concerns. So I told her that my daughter is not coming back anymore. I went to the school immediately to pickup my daughters diapers and clothes. GUESS WHAT Y'ALL the daycare was OPEN!!! I caught them in a straight up lie. I saw about 10 or so kids. They immediately moved all the kids to the back of the school, my daughter's teacher, Ms. Shay wouldnt even talk to me. Ms. Betty gave me all my daughters belongings and stumbled with her words when I said I thought the school was closed this week. They wouldn't give me my $160 back because I signed a contract or whatever but how can they "pretend to be closed" and keep my money? I also lost a full week of pay from work because I had no one to watch my daughter. DON'T TRUST THEM! They pretend to be Christian.
