A very nice restaurant with great interior design and pleasant staff.
I go to Renaa quite often to grab a bite to eat, since they offer vegan pizza, something that very few restaurants have openly on their menu. The warm food is great, although a bit pricy, with the desserts being not that great, dry and altogether quite 'meh'.
The restaurant has had a great atmosphere each time I have eaten there. They have quiet music going in the background and because the restaurant is quite popular, there is often a quiet buzz of talking. The staff are very kind and warm, smiling and helping whenever talked to.
The interior offers a large couch module that has tables that can be moved together, boothes that seat 4 people, window tables for 4, and a long table that perhaps can be booked for a larger group (unsure about this). There is exterior seating for when the weather is more permitting.
Since the only option for vegan pizza is a plain pizza with tomato sauce, garlic and olive oil, garnished with basil, I usually ask them if they can spruce it up a little more.
I'd be very happy if they offered more vegan pizzas that have more toppings than just sauce and put it on their menu, because whenever I get a custom pizza, when I ask for more toppings, they end up being super interesting and would no-doubt sell well on their menu.
The dessert options usually consist of 2 different types of cookies, a couple different cakes and some cinnamon buns. The cookies are quite expensive being over 30 nok, and I'm sure the other cakes and things are the same price.
I reccomend this place as a great lunch or dinner place for students who need something to eat between studying as the location is so close to the library. It is also a great place to come and just hangout with friends. read more
