I am extremely picky when it comes to hiring a cleaning crew to clean my home! I was initially hesitant to hire Remedy because of the pricing but I am glad I decided to move forward with it. My cleaning ladies: Lisa and Tan were amazing! They were 10 min early, had all of the right equipment and supplies and friendly throughout the whole ordeal. My house smelled like a garden of lavender. I would definitely hire them again read more

If you are seeking a cleaning service to waste your time and leave your home looking marginally better than it did before they arrived, all for a premium price - look no further! Our appointment with Remedy Maids was at noon. They contacted us after 1pm to let us know they'd be late (they were already over an hour late). They showed up at 2:30pm - 1.5 hours after they had contacted us to say they'd be late and a whopping 2.5 hours later than our appointment time. It was already clear that they didn't care about us as clients since wasting our time didn't seem to phase them. They proceeded to provide what I would describe as a light tidying up of our apartment. We had requested and paid for their standard cleaning as well as special attention to our cabinets and windows. There was dirt and dust left on the floor in all corners of the rooms and several surfaces they had "cleaned" had stains remaining. Lastly, there was considerable dirt and dust left on the surface of the cabinets and in the windows - the very places we had paid extra to have cleaned thoroughly. Keep in mind that the apartment was completely empty - I can't imagine how bad the cleaning service would be if they actually had to clean around any kind of furniture or belongings. The customer service provided by Remedy Maids is worse than the cleaning and is entirely unprofessional. Their response to our complaint and request for some kind of compensation for the services we had paid for but they didn't render was literally "bring it on." We provided photos of the areas that were still dirty and they noted that if we wanted them to get rid of all of the dirt, we should have selected their deep cleaning option. Apparently the $200 package we had selected only included getting rid of a portion of the dirt around our 650 sqft, 1 bed, 1 bath apartment. We ended up cleaning the remaining dirty areas of the apartment so that our tenants could move in on time. We will never consider this cleaning service again and I recommend you avoid them, as well. read more

Even though remedy maids had a higher price than the competitors, I hired them based on their high rated reviews (on thumbtack), so I was shocked and thoroughly disappointed with the job. I hired them for a move-in cleaning, which in my opinion means a through cleaning readying the apartment for furniture, etc. I'm moving into a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom 1200 sq ft. apt that was completely empty. I requested green service bc I do not want the harsh chemicals, which they advertise as a service on their website, yet when the owner called to book everything she said they don't offer green cleaning because no one ever requests it and they don't have the cleaning supplies. I found that hard to believe but whatever. I offered to buy the supplies, spending over 100.00 for cleaning supplies alone. The workers, who are separately hired by remedy I guess bc their van didn't say remedy maids, seemed super irritated they had to use "green" products and not their own. There were three girls altogether. 2/ 3 did not speak English and the girl who did, barely spoke it and was uninterested in anything I talked about. Each one was paid for two hours each to clean an empty three bedroom apartment, with the final cost equally around $230.00. For that amount of money, I expected a good job especially with the good reviews on thumbtack. I was shocked when I came back to see the job that was not even half way done. I knew something was up right away when I got a text from the owner (who is overly friendly on the phone at first until there's an issue!!), who told me the girls needed three extra hours. What?!?!?? They needed three extra hours for what?! It's an empty apartment! I could have cleaned the apt. On my own in two hours and it would have been a LOT better than what they left me with. I came back, my shower was completely untouched, there were spiderwebs along the ceiling and walls throughout the apt, which FYI has been vacant for 6 months, hence the reason for the cleaning. The inside of the refrigerator was not touched, the half bath toilet was not touched, literally had a dirty ring around it. The sinks weren't cleaned, the floors were dusty, the countertops were dusty....they left a plastic water bottle. I mean I could go on and on with pictures and videos to prove it. I sent all the evidence to the owner. At first she seemed very accommodating and acted very much on my side, but at the end of the day, that was simply not the case. It was a manipulative pacifying tactic that was insulting to my intelligence. She offered to refund 100.00 but the money was not the issue it was the job I needed done on a specific day because I didn't have time to do it. She said she needed to talk to the area manager. They offered to have the area manger come out on Friday morning at 8 am to see the results. What the heck was there to see?!?! I sent videos and pictures for goodness sake!!! Friday was the day I was moving and the exact time my movers were coming, was the time they offered to have someone ASSESS the situation not right the wrong, mind you. Who knows what the manager would have said after the "assessment". Not to mention the owner's text continue to make excuses but then saying "I'm not making excuses..." "I always take the side of the client". Well why wouldn't you take my side when I'm providing pictures and videos, yet all I received was 100.00 off and a crap cleaning job, one that I will have to finish but not before I move everything in, missing the entire purpose for a move in cleaning. I wanted to start with a clean palate and I can't and who knows when I'll find the time to clean the way it should have been done by remedy. Here are a few examples of her texts: "Hi, I understand your frustration. With move in cleaning, we make sure that we give the client a thorough Cleaning. I advertise 100% satisfaction and I want that to come across all the time. I have no issue taking a loss on the job, its all about the customer. We will go ahead and finish the job and the company will incur the extra cost. No problem at all. I just wanted you to be aware of the extra time. YEAH RIGHT! " Im still working on it for you. Regarding the outside windows, for insurance purchase, we never cover outside windows" "Also, the service ordered was a deep cleaning, it did not include windows, fridge, inside the cabinets and any other appliances. Not defending my team but I just wanted to make you aware of that. There are options to check those off on my booking system but they were not checked off as part of your booking" OKAY SERIOUSLY?? THE SERVICE I ORDERED WAS A MOVE IN CLEANING, IF THOSE THINGS AREN'T INCLUDED IN A DEEP CLEANING WITH NO FURNITURE...IM NOT SURE WHAT THE HELL THERE IS TO DO??? WIPE THE EMPTY FLOOR DOWN?!?! RIDICULOUS ....AND YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY DEFENDING YOUR TEAM AND GIVING THE WORST EXCUSES ESPECIALLY AFTER SHE SAW THE EVIDENCE IN THE VIDEOS AND PICTURES!!! read more

After firing my cleaning person for consistently showing up DRUNK, yes, DRUNK, I decided that I needed to find a real cleaning service. I called Remedy Maids and I was immediately impressed. The Manager was very professional and really made me feel at ease. I booked the service with them. They send me a wonderful young lady name Johanna. She did a fabulous job ( much better job than my previous cleaner). She did things that my old cleaner never did such as cleaning under the bed and inside of the closet. She also lift my windows and clean in between those windows sill. Very and very impressed with the service I will try them again for maybe 1 or two more services and if they continue to do a good job, I will hire them on a permanent basis. I was also impressed when someone call me back after the cleaning to ask whether or not I was satisfy. Great job! read more

I used Remedy to do a move in clean on our new home. They arrived promptly and were a delight to work with. Each room was thoroughly cleaned and they even gave me suggestions on what products to use for oven, wood floors, etc. Before they left a walkthrough was done to make sure it was to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them again when i need a deep cleaning in the house and hope to get the same ladies. read more

Had my first bi-weekly cleaning this past Monday. I was so pleasantly surprised by the thorough job! The cleaner was very friendly, as I was coming home from work just as she was leaving. I could see she moved the furniture to vacuum the entire apartment. Bathroom and kitchen were spotless. I could tell she took a lot of pride in her work. Very excited to have chosen Remedy Maids, and I am thankful for the great job they did on my apartment! read more

OMG, in cannot believe it. I came home and my house was spotless for a change. I agree that they are not the cheapest but I rather pay more than get some inexperience person at my home. My husband came home that night and was very happy with the cleaning. so happy that we called a few friends to hang out that night. I now have them scheduled on a bi-weekly basis. Also, this is not the first time that I hired a cleaning company. Never once did the previous cleaning company offer do a walk through with me. The ladies came in did a walk through before the cleaning and after the cleaning. it was just amazing! read more

We are a very busy family from Jersey City.  My husband and I both work in the city and as you can imagine, we have zero time for cleaning. I  used 2 cleaning companies in the past but they really never met my expectations. A friend recommended Remedy Maids and I called to book a cleaning just as a tryout. It was the best  decision ever! This company  ROCKS! .   I mean, they are friendly, the cleaners asked for my input during the cleaning, they work hard and they do a great job.  I never imagine that a cleaning crew can balance professionalism, great skills and yet a very sweet and trustworthy personality.  To me, cleaning service isn't a luxury but a necessity. And I thank Remedy Maids and their dedicated cleaners  for their service.  I now book them For biweekly service.  I TOTALLY recommend this company...their rates are GREAT!  The Management staff also work with you on pricing if you don't have what they are asking for.  That's my experience and I know you will experience same if you have my 2 lovely ladies. read more

The maid was friendly but i was shocked to realize the she did absolutely nothing except move my items around and left them in disarray. She did not dust, did not bring supplies with her even though they had charged me for bio- friendly products, did not clean the counters, the bathroom. She changed all my appliances around and I am disabled and had them arranged so I could use them. Had to have help come in to corrrect the disaster they left. Extremely disappointed. read more

Had Remedy Maids to a move in clean on a brand new apartment. I checked all the boxes online (very easy to decide what you want done), and they did it all. Place was spotless and dust free, exactly what I expected. They were a little late, but I also booked them at the very last minute, and for a very big job. I thought they were great and very nice. read more
