They are on Broadway, Newmarket and sell suits. No heavy thinking really needed for that one. They tailor suits. That's why the staff member has a tape measure around his neck. They are rude. Younger people should be seen and not heard. Suits are for business gentlemen or weddings. Anyone who looks older or wealthier than you will be served before you will even be acknowledged. I wasn't entitled to a greeting until the older customers left the store and then I was made to feel like I had been lurking around the store. They are superior to any customer or any other business. Questions will not be tolerated as they know best. It was laughable that I would be looking for a winter coat at the beginning of Autumn. That I was to wear a suit, collared shirts and ties almost incomprehensible. Just because it says they sell suits, don't think this is the alpha and omega of suits. Their supposed monopoly on Newmarket suits is reflected in their prices (read: ties on sale for $160). There are other, more customer friendly menswear stores around Newmarket and Auckland, where you can pay better prices for the latest seasons fashion.

They actually rang us a few days later telling us to come in and see them. We popped in and they handed us the marriage licence - it turns out our best man left it in his pocket. When you arrived, there was a form to fill out, once done the person at the desk told you what to do at each station, there was a hood selection station, a gown station where they sized you up and gave you the gown you needed, a graduate cap station and then someone showing you exactly how the regalia should be worn. I was in and out in 10 mins when I thought it would take hours. I got to keep the regalia for a week and simply took it back when I was done. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing and the place was calm, not stressed at all. Very impressive!

When or if the package is late (not by 1 or 2 days, but weeks late), they say, "oops, sorry, but we can't help it. We're keeping your $18 just because." That makes all shipping for Army and Outdoors a gamble. Is this good customer service? No, it is not. My company doesn't offer expedited shipping due to Covid. We tried, but ended up refunding hundreds of orders. Our standard for customer service is the gold standard. Apparently, Army and Outdoors care very little for its customers. If your products are good, but your service is lousy, what is the point? Competition is stiff out there. I will buy all my outdoor equipment and clothing anywhere else.
