Rented a house from them for a year. Throughout the year I put in 6 work orders for things to get fixed. Not a single one was completed in the whole year. 2700 square foot house and it only had one AC unit. I called numerous times because my upstairs wouldn't get below 87 degrees. Extremely rude property manager. Could never get ahold of her for anything. Spoke with her broker and got nowhere. Only reason this place is in business is because of the military base. If they were somewhere where they had to work for their customers there is no way they could stay in business. read more

This is the best real estate places that we have ever gone through. They are all so friendly and truly enjoy their jobs. I needed a house quickly because my husband was coming home from a deployment and they met all of my needs. They stayed late on a Saturday evening just to get us approved and out of a hotel room. They all go well beyond what I would expect from a real estate office. I could rave about them all day long, but truly if you are moving to Clarksville do not go through anyone but them! Only reason this gets one star is because I can't put 0. Worst rental agency EVER! Yeah, people are cordial, but moving in they never bothered to do a move in inspection. The back door had locking issues and the driveway was in desperate need of stone. I'm willing to overlook that though. What gets me is that when I moved out they not only kept the entire deposit, but they want another hundred extra. Deposit was 600. 75 for a rekey. We returned the keys.... If it's standard to change the locks after each tenant then why are you charging for it? 75 for carpet cleaning. That is legitimate. 50.41 water bill and 51.53 for electricity. Both of those I dealt directly with the utilities so what they are talking about is complete nonsense 175 for replacing a door. That is legitimate. 220 for cleaning So I call bullcrap on the amount because we cleaned for two days straight but whatever. Also, shouldn't you automatically clean after each tenant? If so then why am I paying for it? 40 for mowing I mowed the day before we left. That is complete trash. They can shove it. If you have to rent from these people make sure you go so far as to document with pictures everything before and after because the agent of the house won't ever show her face for anything. Only person you'll see is the cleaning lady for the move out inspection. Agent really shows how much she cares about your rental. Side note-My wife moved in and the walls were marked up horribly, last time I checked they should paint walls before tenant moves in. Holes in the walls, why weren't they filled in? Also kitchen walls and cupboards were sticky and had grease on them. So she moved into a dirty house. Last thing, bath tub had disgusting black stuff along the top of the side wall, told her what to buy to clean it. Sorry what? No respect for Re/Max. We were PCSING here from Ohio and needed a house to be move in ready. We found this house and George Gray told us the previous tenants kept it in immaculate conditions. After driving 8 hours, we opened the door and the place was a disaster. Flies everywhere, dog hair, dirt and debris all over. I was eight months pregnant at the time and the last thing I needed to be doing after sitting in a car for 8 hours was scrubbing a house from top to bottom.. but I did. We were in the house from August-February, yes 6 months. Within those 6 months there were numerous problems. The ceiling fans didn't work properly, the dish washer didn't work, the toilet didn't flush right, there was an ant infestation and there was a live mouse running around the house. We called numerous times to have the issues fixed and they sent some creepy guy over that didn't know what he was doing, he just went around and took pictures of everything on his cell phone and then went months without getting back to us. When he finally did get back to us he just told us to put tape on the holes in the screens on the windows, to put wood glue on the sliding floor boards and stuck a stopper in the toilet which didn't solve the problem. The dishwasher first would pour water all over the sink, and then after the creepy guy came and couldn't fix it(go figure) they had the actual company come out.. who fixed the the water all over problem but it would randomly back up water and left it full of mold. Come February, we were told by a group of Amish men coming into the house (I believe trying to loot) that it was on the county commissioner website and that it foreclosed. I then had to call some appraisal woman, and then called George gray to see what was going on. He couldn't give me any answers and had no idea our house was foreclosed on. He wasn't very helpful and we had to retain a lawyer through this annoying process. Stay away!! read more

This was our first experience renting an apt and it was the WORST. The real state agent literally NEVER answered our texts when we needed something or had any questions. When we first moved in we noticed that there was two wasp nests over the front door, we had to run inside because they could get inside, we informed the realtor about it to see what we could do, but she never answered, so we had to take care of it ourselves. We had several issues with the apt and the realtor never answered us nor took care of it. The air conditioning was never strong enough it was always hot in the second floor, and since we moved in the sealing fan never worked like it supposed to and we never turn it on and our claim was ignored. Also we had to move out of the apartment 3 months earlier because of a flooding that happened next door and got in to our apt and workers came and took out everything from the first floor, including flooring, first floor bathroom, cabinets, refrigerator, oven, everything, so it wasn't livable and we didn't have any choice than to move out of the apt. Basically they don't care about the people, they care about the money. read more

Please do not use this company or have Kevin Toon sale or rent your homes. Very unprofessional and does not follow through. Kevin was the property manager for my house in the Rossview area did not follow-up as needed and the tenants would have to contact me directly to get items serviced for the home. Kevin left Remax, started to work for Keller Williams. I was, notified by Krysti Montes De Oca that he was no longer managing property but if and when I wanted to sell he would be available. Krysti took over as the property manager, she is not bad but needs to work at communicating and being more accessible. I am not in the business of bashing anyone but this company in general needs to become professional and respond promptly to their clients. If you value your home Remax is not the company to represent you at all. Giving this company one star is probably too much as they are not invested in your home just their money. I had a very unpleasant experience renting with this place. They were supposed to have carpets replaced because the linoleum that was currently on the floor was cut weird and didn't fit right and the carpet in one of the rooms was two different carpets that didn't cover the whole floor. I should've known going in that I should've pressed my luck in waiting for another 4 bedroom to open. The banister at the top of the stairs was held together by the metal fixings for the back of cheap picture frames so I had to put my oversized chair in front of it until it was fixed to keep my kids from falling down it and breaking their necks. The day that I moved in, which I told them I would be there on that date, the repair guy was there still installing carpets the lights were on everywhere and he had open blades laying around that my kids could get cut on. He then proceeded to tell me he was rushed to finish it in one day and to complain to me that he was told last minute about the work order. Then on move out I was almost blamed for holes and damages that preexisted and would have been if I wouldn't have taken date marked photographs to protect myself. However, that did not stop remax from overcharging me on move out. I was told that the carpet cleaning was 150 then they changed it to 200. They charged me for cutting grass even though they waited 2 weeks after I notified them I was clear to final out. Then they proceeded to send me a check after I deployed that was $200 short of what I signed in agreement to prior to leaving for prorated rent that i had already paid, which I have receipts for as well. So, it is safe to say I will never rent from, or refer anyone to remax northstar. read more

I would never use this company again. My house was completely neglected. My current renter told me they promised to do needed repairs three years ago, but failed to do so. We had no idea our house was being neglected. In three years, my agent NEVER visited our house to see the status, even after the renter called him with repair requests. We had no idea this was going on. The only reason I put one star is because it wouldn't let me put zero or negative ten, which is what they deserve.
