Remax Advantage has continued to allow vicious aggressive dogs that have been confirmed in multiple dog attacks to continue to live in a condo in my complex. How do I know? They attacked me and my dog! The dogs were off leash without anyone near them. They ran straight from their condo to me and my dog! My dog immediately defended me and did all he could to not die! Meanwhile I'm kicking both dogs with everything I have. Once one of the pitbulls locked on to my dog's neck I had no choice but to put him in a chokehold while still kicking the other dog. The rental company is Remax Advantage. I will name the agent if he doesn't make this right in 48 hours. I am going above him and will be looking to get him removed from managing this property asap! I have filed with animal control as well as the property management of this complex. The Remax agent lied to me and said he evicted the tenant last month. Well this morning I was attacked again! This time it was 3 of the 4 people living there. Remax is a disgrace of a company and i would never recommend using them for any of your real estate needs!!! read more

After signing a lease and doing the walk through check in and turning it in. (Of course making a copy for myself) All the other previous reviews are spot on! Moved out and Sandra and her minions saying they never received nor have a record of the check in walk through paperwork. Stay far away from dealing with them! VETERANS, PEOPLE WITH GOVT JOBS, JOBS, IF YOU HAVE A PULSE READ BEFORE RENTING FROM SANDRA My husband is a Firefighter and retired Marine and unfortunately was gone during the time of the whole move in but we got all the paperwork together for the move in and sent it over got approved and we're told we had 2 WEEKS to give the deposit. Then Sandra turned around and said we had less than 24hrs to turn it in. I did not have time to stop by to drop off I was slammed at work and my husband was gone on a fire assignment. To which SANDRA replied " I highly doubt she's that busy she works retail they probably don't have the money". From that I should have backed out and gone elsewhere. Sandra you have no room talk about someone else's job. Not that I need to explain myself but I am in upper management running 10 stores in the region so yeah I was pretty busy. I don't get to sit at a desk all day long and NOT answer phone calls from tenants. At move in we filled out the move in report THEY PROVIDED FOR US which on their paperwork says we have 15 days from move in to turn in. So we went room by room making sure we marked every single thing down we could. From minor scrapes to walls, doors, to the stains on the carpet to the kitchen falling apart, to carpet missing to the DIRTY ROOMS AND TOILET STAINED WITH PEE STILL. We turned it in by said date & 10 days after we turned it in after that Pam & Sandra wanted photos. To then they said they weren't fixing it because we sent it a month late. Maybe you should change YOUR OWN POLICY and not RESPOND10 DAYS LATER. Then they said everything was "AS IS" and they said "broken drawers to not use them" and when we asked to see where it said AS IS and to "NOT USE THE BROKEN DRAWERS"....crickets. Pam nor Sandra could provide us that information. Whenever we had problems at the property no one wanted to help us and when people got sent out even their contracted workers would tell us how awful Sandra was to their tenants and TO THEM! We were even told the damage done to the kitchen was due to our fault which I found comical because not only was it listed on the move on and pictures were taken.....we both were hardly ever home. I attached pictures that show June 4th which is four days after our move in date! How did we destroy the cabinets in FOUR DAYS!? NOTE: we also complained about us not having A/C and were told to change the battery to do all these things but why do I have to do it? Why do I have to come out of pocket? This is your job to fix not mine. Regardless I changed batteries. I came out of pocket for that and was GIVEN THE MOST RIDICULOUS RUN AROUND OF MY LIFE! We were left with no A/C for almost a month and inside registered between 96-100 degrees in the middle of June might I add. I had to go into the office and tell them I would have someone fix the A/C and send them the bill and Pam and Sandra laughed in my face and said "that's not how it works" but it is how that works after almost a month of NO AIR CONDITIONING IN OUR HOME! Why did it take for me to threaten with my own A/C company for you to fix the problem? We moved in with this issue and they were trying to tell us it's our fault. Are you out of your mind? If this was Sandra or Pam's house they'd have it fixed same day no questions asked. But for their tenants oh no they get to wait a month. For all of these we were told to go through the portal but when I would let them know the PORTAL DID NOT WORK I was not helped to make an account, how to log on, or what to do. Even after I repeatedly let them know the portal link they sent me was NOT WORKING! It just seemed to be pure laziness on their end. The entire time we were there we were NEVER LATE on rent. At times we were early and still got treated like dirt. WE EVEN GOT CHARGED TWICE MULTIPLE MONTHS AND PAM HAD THE NERVE TO SAY "well do you even have the money in your account" are you joking...your portal charged me twice and took it out twice I want my money back and they would take forever to return it. When we would go in to the office and spoke to Pam or Sandra about issues I would get dirty looks with their nose in the air like we were beneath them. We always were trying to communicate problems to them and they would shrugged us off and made us feel like we were being a bother when it's literally your job to help your tenants with problems. All in all they were not nice people and there is SO MUCH MORE I COULD SAY. I don't know if Sandra and Pam had problems with people of color, or our jobs which are respectable jobs (firefighter and management), or VETERANS but they were the worst people I have ever dealt with in my life. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY AND AVOID A BAD DAY, READ MY EXPERIENCE. We found a nice house for rent and we want to apply for it. I've read all negative reviews about this REMAX Advantage, but my wife pushed me to try it. I am a real estate professional and I thought their approach will be different. Oh god, how I was wrong! That was the WORST experience EVER! I filled out applications and paid for all applicants. I was in contact with the house owner BEFORE I applied to the rental. The owner told me, you are overqualified and you are ok, so just post your applications. After I did that, the ReMax Advantage asked me to show more documents, which I did. My real estate portfolio is close to $1M and we have either cash either excellent credits. I am a licensed professional and my wife is a highly paid model. We did not get a call or any message for a few days and I tried to contact REMAX Advantage. I tried to call a front desk and they transferred us to a voicemail when I asked for the status. I called again and they did the same. After my 3rd call, they connect me to some worker ( not agent ) and I was told, that we did not pick up a phone, so they mark our application as REJECTED. And they hang up, again. I called them back and I was transferred to a voice mail. I called them again and they transferred me to some agent. I was told, that because we have the wrong number on the application, they called my wife. Meanwhile: My wife told me, that they called her in the morning and without saying anything, they hang up. When she called them back, they hang up again. She called them again and asked them, who is calling. They said REMAX. When she asked, why they are keeping hanging up on her, when they called her minutes ago, they hang up. So, I was so pissed off, that I kept calling and finally somebody starts talking to me. After all, I contacted the owner and he told me, that the REMAX ADVANTAGE is in the charge about who to approve or deny ( which can be good, but it's not in fact, whey they are only the property manager ). He also told me, that they thought that I haven't support enough documents. I sent them over 50 files :). They told to the owner, that I am not eligible. That is a lie and I have enough cash to buy whole house, which I proove! :) So, it's obviously something shady here. They do not act in compliance with ethics and I have a suspicion that they are collecting a LOT of application fees. That was MY experience and it ruined few days of my life. I will NEVER get back to that horrible realty. I will be posting a compliant to a NEVADA DIVISION. Trust ALL REVIEWS! And have a calm day. read more

Yes, their customer service skills is less than desirable. If it was just Sandra, I would give them one star. However, we had a couple of issues with our new rental and Pam was quite helpful in getting them resolved. We sold our home and moved into a rental managed by them but, once the gas was turned on, we found out the hot water heater wasn't working. So, we were without hot water for 10 days. I want you to be able to read the email correspondence between us and see what I encountered with her. Tenant insurance? It was a new rental. Who expects to have to deal with something like this? We just moved in and I am already looking forward to moving out! Instead of just being sympathetic to our plight, she chose to engage in a pissing contest. So, as to avoid cursing her out, I chose to let it go and leave a review. I hope we never need anything else, for the remainder of our lease!! I've been renting a home since August of 2019. The first real issue I encountered came this morning when I noticed there was a leak in the garbage disposal. I put in a maintenance request around 8:45 a.m. and by 10 a.m. received a call from one of the maintenance people, asking if he could come between 11 and 11:30 the same day. He was prompt, courteous and fixed the problem within a half-hour. Sandra contacted me to let me know she had talked with the maintenance person. I didn't expect the issue to be resolved so quickly, especially given the limitations we all have now ... but I could not have asked for better service. read more

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every single time I call them I am transferred to voicemail and I'm never called back. When you call the receptionist she seems to have no idea what's going on or who to connect you with. If I could change them I would! This Remax has to be a joke. Every time you put in a request it took them over a week to take care of it even if it was something major. When we moved out of the house we were renting they apparently forgot to tell our landlord that we were leaving until the week we were all moving out. Not surprised that this office has 1 star and all bad reviews. Honestly, I may have dodged a bullet. I arrived at this office to turn in an in person application the other day. Arrived before they opened, waited and ended up walking in with the receptionist who was 10min late for work bu the way! You can tell he hates his job. I was the first application in on a very popular listing and am qualified via all of the necessary requirements. It's been two days since I dropped off my packet and Sandra and Nathan are ignoring my agent and I have heard nothing. My agent said in checking the MLS, it looks like they went with someone else and told me to try calling them since she was getting no responses back! I call BS!!! I called to check status and was quick transferred to Nathan's v/m. Based on these reviews they did exactly to me what they always seem do. I warn anyone who is considering applying for a rental property with this company. They unprofessional, unethical and unresponsive. Feb. 12th UPDATE: Lol. Go ahead and defend yourself Sandra. I can't express enough to DO NOT attempt to rent from this company! Once you put in your application and pay your application fees you will never hear from them. They will avoid you like the plaque whenever you try to communicate with them! The name of their game is to take tons of applications for one house and charge outrageous fees when they never intend to rent the property to you in the first place! We paid $300 in application fees for one rental property and never heard back from them. Whenever I called to inquire the rude receptionist wouldn't answer my questions and would put me directly into voicemail. I left message after message and sent texts and when I finally heard back from Nathan he told me the owner of the property went with another applicant and if they didn't come up with deposit that we would be next in line.
