To start, we had the fresh oysters which totally trumped my previous favorites at O Catarina in Perdizes. Peixaria's are a must. We also had the muqueca and grilled fish (they have a rotation of them, served with banana farofa and pinto bean salad), and both were delicious. Great place for a casual dinner and also to bring visiting friends.

They literally forgot about us, although the restaurant had only few customers. "hello! We are not waving, but dying of hunger here " I wanted to say! Food was correct, as always good ingredients, large portions, well seasoned. However, sea food (and mainly the fish) was , for me , overcooked. Mussels of the appetizer were rubbery and tuna very dry. The delicate Cambucu Hake, my favorite fish, was bland even though cooked with paprika and creAm . Moqueca prawns also a bit to much cooked for my taste. We would stay for pudding and digestive, but service was so slow that we just asked for the bill. Lucky we had ice cream back home

Food: Couvert (fish escabeche): one of the best couverts at Morumbi Shopping. Escabeche is slightly seasoned and tender, and pickled onions and carrots are slightly sweet with a touch of vinegar. That paired up with a basket of freshly baked mini French rolls is pretty awesome. Tranche Hungaro: Generous chunks of sea bass, slowly cooked in crème, sweet paprika, and other spices, along with potatoes. Dish is cooked and served inside a clay pot. This serving feeds easily two people. Filet de Linguado Grelhado: Grilled sole fish, lightly seasoned with fresh herbs, served a lime wedge, and sautéed potatoes. Overall food is great, service is a tad slow and hard to get servers attention.
