Googled for recommended options and contacted some places Bob's Upholstery being one of them. So glad that I found Bob and decided to go with him. While this day and age many people are happy to take as much money as you're willing to give them Bob is OLD SCHOOL, which is a compliment, meaning he's skilled in his trade but also really cares about both the work he's doing and the end result and at the end of the day making all of that happen for a reasonable price (and just FYI he was about half the price of all the other quotes that I got). They came out twice because the first repair scratched the pedestal and the adhesive didn't hold. Second time they tried to fix the scratches but used some kind of matte paint which messed up the finish. Scratches are still very visible. Table still isn't level. I paid a 50% deposit to get on their schedule, I knew they were about 6 weeks out when I did that. I went there and selected vinyl, Brad let me know when they'd be ready to start on them. We took the stools to them about a week ago, Brad delivered them to me tonight. They look better now, than they did when I bought them. The workmanship is pristine. I am beyond impressed with the entire transaction. I try and support local owned businesses whenever I can. Vintage Source earned and deserves that support. Walking through the show room was a bonus, a trip down memory lane. If you're looking vintage, don't miss going there.
