Our roofer, old Tom was so gruff it's like listening to gravel spill out of a rusty wheelbarrow. Everything you've heard is 100% true and then some! Obviously the roof is the main event, and every time I look, it's top-notch - level and perfectly plumb. Don't skip the sheet metal work. The hand-made sheet metal gutter work is out-of-this-world good, so save money to spend more and upgrade those downspouts!
