Eddie is a great talker and tells you he can do everything and really lets you believe he can be trusted. I had a full rehab for my house including painting, new flooring, new vanities, all new light fixtures, basically total overhaul. The original bid was $23,900. I have pets so I specifically told Eddie I would be moving into an Airbnb so he could get the house done without having to work around me and I did not want my pets stressed by all the noise and activity. He agreed that the job would be done in 4 weeks. During this time, he decided to accept a bathroom remodel in my neighbors house at the same time. He only works from about 9am to 4pm with a lunch break. He was 2 weeks past the deadline and still was not finished!! He submitted receipts from the hardware store for me to pay that were parts he bought for my neighbors job! He has now charged me over $34,000 for my job that was supposed to cost $24,944. That is a 30% mark up!! The work site was an absolute disaster, they left my house in terrible shape. They sprayed my floors with glue remover and did not protect my furniture (he promised all furniture would be protected and covered) which has now eaten the stain off several pieces of my antique furniture. He took all my books and piled them on my mattress and did not cover my mattress so not only was it exposed to toxic chemicals from the glue remover he used, the mattress was filthy because he never covered it even though he promised he would. He did not wire my ceiling fans correctly so I had to pay an electrician to come and re-wire them. Ge burnt out 1 ceiling fan with his bad wiring and the electrician said it needs to be replaced. He also left screws loose on the bedroom fans so they would eventually fall from the ceiling. He stored all his tools in my garage and left such a mess, I tripped over his cords and hurt myself pretty badly. Even once I moved back in, everyday they would throw trash on the floors inside the house and then leave. Every night I would have to go around cleaning up all their trash. He bills you for items that are not complete and then expects payment even though items are not completed. I bought all the materials and because he was so disorganized, he lost several parts that I had to re- purchase. I have never seen such a messy, disorganized job site in my 30 years of property management where I worked with hundreds of contractors over the years. I could keep going, but I am sure you get the point t. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, WORST DECISION EVER! Total incompetent and can't complete job on time because they only work about 5 to 6 hours a day.

He was referred to me so I took the people at their word. I was having a problem with water coming…read moreinto my office from my lanai door. After his evaluation, he said the "flashings" did not come down far enough to cover and protect the lanai roof. He also repaired the bottom of my lanai door frame, which is where the water was coming from. Back to the flashings...so he installed flashing on roof with the hopes it would stop the water coming in from the bottom and that cost me $1350. It did, however, now there was a leak coming from the lanai ceiling, which wasn't before. When it rained, I videoed the water coming down and sent the video to him...he came back and took a look and said he saw nothing and if he were to come out again he would have to charge me. Well, it rained and i sent another video and this time, no response...however i was notified he read the text. I texted him again to tell him I contacted White aluminum, the company who did my lanai to begin with and they would come out and see if they could fix my problem. THAT text he responded to by saying " I did not get your text yesterday, my fault". Well, today they come out, IMMEDIATELY identify where the leak is coming from and says" get Dan back out here because he did a terrible job"...then proceeds to show me pics of a hole(which is where the water is coming from), exposed nails, and the side of the flashing that he was able to lift up(which he wasn't supposed to be able to do). Needless to say, he pulled up all of Dan's work, installed a new flashing that was securely placed under the shingles(at least 3 rows up), corked up any open spaces around my door frame and fixed a few things with the lanai frame...all for $200. I texted Dan with photos and explained what was explained to me, he READ it and hasn't responded with an " Im sorry" or nothing. I am very disappointed and feel like he took advantage of me not really knowing what was going on. But lesson learned never to be forgotten.

We contracted Dan the Handyman to install a shower door in our just completed tile shower. Dan came…read moreand looked at the installation a couple of weeks prior and was given printed instructions from the manufacturer. On August 29, 2025 Dan and his helper arrived to install the shower door. He did not have the correct size or type of carbide drill bit to accommodate the anchors supplied with the door. He mis-drilled many holes and installed the shower door no where near plumb or square, with a lot of extra holes exposed. When confronted about the installation, he said he had insurance and would make it right. We had a phone conversation with Dan on September 2, 2025 and he asked for an amount we are seeking. To be fair to both parties we told him that we would attempt to get the tile replaced on a time and materials basis. He has since ghosted us with no further contact. Dan has no skills or integrity. Do not hire!!!
