We gave him our specifications and he found them. He didn't waste our time trying to show us what he thought was good for us, he took our ideas and put them together. In looking at the houses we did, I told him that all other houses went back to "the one" and was scared to settle for less than that - even for 5k-10k fewer dollars. He insisted that we go with what we want since this is the house that we wanted. At times we felt high-maintenance for our part, but Aaron never made us feel that way. He cares about those he helps and works to get us what we are looking for. Huge help, big heart. Aaron has character and you will be able to trust him right away.

Stay with me on this one, this is going to be a little different…read more.. Aaron and I met when he was looking to become an investor many years ago in Long Beach Calif. (He now owns 17 units). He was also a successful contractor specializing in working with realtors and their clients. He proved to be head and shoulder above the competition when it came to the details and quality of his trade, always exceeding the expectations for me and my clients. (I am a realtor in Calif.) When Mr. Gerry left So Cal to expand his real estate business in Washington, I had the good fortune to refer one of my clients (That sold a home in Long Beach) to him for their purchase in Puyallup a few years back. After Aaron completed their relocation they sent me a glowing letter of appreciation stating what Aaron had done to accommodate them in a very difficult time in their lives... "Aaron was the perfect man for the job. Always thinking ahead and knowing where we were headed before we even knew to ask the question" ,"He talked to us like people not a statistic" and " "He made moves that were not always in his best interest, but made the deal better for us" I will always refer my Puyallup area relocations to Mr. Gerry. Thank you for doing everything you said you would. (And then some).

I'm going to try and keep it as short as possible but keep important details. In November of 2018, we decided to sell our house. We listed it on Zillow for sell by owner and with that we received numerous calls from realtors who wanted to represent us. At the time we did not want a realtor but later received a call from a gentleman that showed interest in purchasing our house. This gentleman ended up being an employee/coworker of Ryan's who had convinced us to speak with Ryan. We thought this would be a phone conversation but ended up being an in-home appointment. We discussed our goals with selling and purchasing a home with Ryan and through that conversation decided to use him as our realtor. After signing the consulting agreement, we notified our neighbors. One of them was interested in purchasing our home as an investment property but did not want realtors involved. Ryan was understanding of this and agreed to process the paperwork for this transaction for $500. Long story short they were not able to get funding. Before signing the consulting agreement with Ryan, we had a couple that extended an offer that we were not able to accept. Ryan reached out to their realtor to start a negotiation process and with that we were able to get in contract. It took several, counter offers to get to this point in which Ryan failed to disclose several important factors that were in the offer. Such as, they buyers wanted our washer, dryer, deep freezer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and horse shelter. We understood and agreed that some of these items are a given, but we were not willing to sell our washer, dryer and deep freezer with the home. Luckily, I had read through the inter document prior to signing instead of trusting that Ryan was disclosing all information. The contact was active Dec 15th and was schedule to close Feb 8th. With being in contract to sell our home, we extended an offer on purchasing a home with it being contingent on our house selling. Things seemed to be going smoothly until the appraisal came back nearly $50K less then agreed selling price. Both realtors and the mortgage company felt the property was well under valued on the appraisal and prepared documents to submit to the VA for re-evaluations. After submitting comparisons to the VA to help them re-evaluation the property value the government was shutdown. We still had a month until we were scheduled to close and were told by the VA that it could take up to 4 weeks to get a response. Knowing there was a chance we were not going to close on time we asked Ryan to notify the builders of the house we wanted to purchase so they were aware of the situation. Ryan suggested to not tell them and that there is a chance we could still close by the 8th. As time went on, we knew we were not going to close on time. Seven Days before we were scheduled to close on our sell and purchase Ryan decided it was time to notify the builders of the home, we wanted to purchase that we were not going to be able to close on time. The builders had informed Ryan that we were obligated to purchase their home and if we were not able to follow thought with our contract that they would pursue us legally for lost profits, interest etc. Ryan debated with them that the contract is contingent on our house selling. Turns out that all contingencies were void through the addendums that the builder had sent us. Ryan admitted to us that he had not read the documents and had advised us to just sign them. Ryan tried to terminate the contract but in return we received a letter from the builder stating they choose to take legal action against us. We put our house back on the market and were able to accept a new offer to sell within a week. Luckily, this couple already had approved financing, cash down and wanted to close soon. Once we knew this deal was going to work, we reached out to the builders to make an addendum to our original contract. The builder's agent was unable to talk at the time, so Ryan reached out the builders directly. The builders had told Ryan that they didn't want to sell the house through him because of some comments and text messages he had sent to their agent. Ryan said to the builder, so you're not going to sell this house to my clients because of something I've done? Long story short... we were able to purchase the house, but the price was increased $1,563 and we had to pay $500 to extend our rate lock. This was the most stressful time of our lives and we feel the need to share our experience to hopefully save someone from having to go through something similar. Our recommendation is to research your realtor and shop around for a realtor. Your personalities need to mesh, and you need to be able to trust that your realtor has your best interest at heart. Also, find someone who is willing to educate you on the process.

To this day…read moreI don't understand if it was the people we worked with or the company as a whole prioritizing specific clients of theirs. We rented out our property for two and a half years. During that time, we slaved to try and contact our agent, and they would never call us back even after conversations committing to a call back the very next day. The service was terrible, communication was terrible, and they had no professionalism. Appliances that weren't replaced or tended to by the previous renters or blue pine: the food disposal (broke--a screw flew out of the sink), water filter, sinks (unbelievably clogged), windows covered in hard water stains, front door seal allows light in at the bottom, the light fixture is broken in the master bedroom, and there is a mouse infestation in the garage. I understand every company has its problems, but after asking around, many people have had the exact same issues I've had. Blue Pine is a terrible company to go with if you are a homeowner. I do not recommend.

They inspected the property I needed to rent, and ran background and rental history and credit checks on potential renters. They recommended I fix some things so the renters would be happy as well. The people BluePine selected for me were the best renters imaginable. It was well worth it to me to pay the modest fees charged by Blue Pine for their services. They were very responsive to any questions I had for them. If I could give them ten stars, I would, but since I can only use five stars, they get all of them, with gold glitter!
